Learn to Trace is a fantastic app for tracing.  It's easy on the eyes, not bright. The interface is clean, the backgrounds are dark, a chalkboard, and without distractions. The objects to trace are large, wide, and the trace lines are thick and light.  They only focus on the task.  Start super easy with shapes. Step by step guidance to learn the correct order and direction to write each item, can't complete them by just going off in any direction.

Important - advances to the next screen automatically. No need to push a button which is frustrating and distracting for toddlers.
