Endlich gibt es nach dem Einsteigerkurs noch den Fortgeschrittenenkurs. Es macht richtig Spaß und motiviert. Ich würde mir eine Aufnahmefunktion wünschen, um sich das eigene Spiel noch einmal anzuhören oder an jemanden zu verschicken, der auch übt.

### 2/5 — Wrong note, no variety, just a scam

After selecting, I wasn’t a beginner player. It still put me with lessons that were obviously way below what I should’ve been getting and after giving me beginner notes to play it kept telling me they were wrong being significantly lower than I’m very much aware I played. There’s nothing about this that said I had to pay for lessons and after getting the app everything but the tutorial cost money. This is a scam of the app and it’s really obvious that some of the reviews are fake.

I don’t really like it because like you need premium for all most everything and I can’t even learn my trombone

It’s pretty good but it shouldn’t have to pay money monthly because than if new learner come and try it out they just don’t delete and they’ll actually use the app if you don’t have to pay for everything

The first lessons have been really helpful and so simple to learn, they have taught me really well and there listen and response is super helpful. But the only problem is that they wont stop bothering me about paying for more lessons, the trombone i have is my schools and i am broke so yeah. LOVE THE LESSONS THOUGH!

I spent $160 after taxes for my son to use this app for his trombone. It had a beginner lesson and a theory intro lesson, then nothing. We’ve been using it for a month. He’s done with the little bit of lessons provided. 

For this much money, he could have had in person private lessons and made more progress in the same month. 

Save your money and hire someone locally.

To your response: I HAVE emailed already, and gotten absolutely nowhere. The monthly option wasn’t there when I downloaded it. I couldn’t see what lessons came next, so I wrongly assumed there would be more. My review won’t change. I’ve requested a refund and haven’t heard anything back yet. Maybe that would earn some stars back on the customer service end, but we will see if you’re actually interested in your customers or just grabbing money.

I installed the Tonestro app on my iPad and signed up for the 1 year subscription with a 1 week free trial.  I started working on the Beginner level 1 lessons.  The lessons seemed good, with practice and instruction.  I finished the Level 1 in the first week, and signed up for the 1 year subscription.  Then I found that there were NO MORE LESSONS.  I had already completed all of the Trombone lessons that they had in that first week, and had paid for the 1 year subscription, which appears to be completely worthless.  They say they are working on more content, and “However, this process takes time”.  Check to see how many lessons they have for your instrument before you pay anything.  Apple would not issue a refund.

I signed up for the “free trial” to test it out, but before 7 days had elapsed, the app automatically deducted a full one year ($149.99!) subscription from my account!  We had done one, 7 minute lesson, which seemed good, but I would never sign up for a full year of something without a longer trial - I’m sure they spend a lot of time making the first few lessons, but I don’t trust anything beyond it. I am furious.

Of course, it’s impossible to contact anyone, because as far as I can tell, they just set up a few lessons to trick people and then draw out the maximum amount of money they can.

Ich habe denen schon 2x geschrieben und keine Antwort erhalte: habe ich jetzt ernsthaft 50€ gezahlt und es gibt nur ein Level? Das hatte ich in einer Woche durchgespielt. Ich hoffe dass es ein technischer Fehler ist der behoben wird, denn eigentlich war ich ansonsten zufrieden mit der App. Bitte immer noch um eine Antwort, damit ich weiter lernen kann.

### 1/5 — Umfang der App viel zu gering für 120 EUR pro Jahr – nur Anfängerkurs

Es gibt in der App Stand 2024 noch immer nur einen Anfängerkurs mit 12 Lektionen. Das kann man in der Testphase so nicht erkennen. Damit ist man schnell durch und man hat nur einen Bruchteil des Tonumfangs der Posaune gelernt. Die Entwickler habe ich schon angeschrieben und die haben bestätigt, dass es nicht mehr gibt. Die Auswahl des Kurses am Anfang suggeriert, dass man nach Abschluss des Anfängerkurses in den nächsten Kurs kommt. Aber es kommt einfach nichts mehr. Das ist mehr als schwach! Die ganzen Lieder mit größerem Tonumfang kann man sich als Anfänger nicht gut erschließen und sind kein Ersatz für einen strukturiert aufgebauten Kurs, der Schritt für Schritt neue Töne umfasst. Somit hat meine Motivation stark nachgelassen und ich nutze die App nicht mehr. 120 EUR in den Sand gesetzt. So kann man die App nicht empfehlen.

Il y a que les leçons du niveau 1  qui sont disponibles!Je les ai terminé en trois jours et après… Plus rien il a seulement la possibilité de pouvoir jouer sur quelques chansons et de pratiquer des gammes… C'est vraiment dommage parce que cette application pourrait être génial 🥲59,99€Pour ça ça n'en vaut pas la peine ☹️ dommage .

I bought the Annual trombone subscription (silly me) because I was misled into thinking that there was more than “Level 1”, i.e. 4 positions. But after completing level 1, that’s it. The worst way I spent 90 bucks, DON’T DO IT. I paid for 1 year, and after 1 week I don’t know what to do, I paid a high price and I did not even learn all positions, let alone advanced stuff.

This is an amazing app. It lets you play trombone for free with a great experience. although I would prefer they had more songs in the song library that weren’t so boring. It’s still a great app to use. they have multiple options and with no cost it’s great. I use this app daily. although I’ve been playing trombone for a while, and I’m pretty professional I believe that they should make you take a survey before giving you lessons because now I’m learning stuff I already did
