## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.22 — 2026-07-19

What's New in 1.22

A smoother Quick Review and lots of little polish. Reviewing is now more helpful, and a few rough edges around answers are gone.

- Quick Review now plays the word's pronunciation when you answer correctly, and once you've cleared your due words it adds a few extra practice words so you can keep going.
- Getting a word wrong is calmer: the prompt stays on screen and the buttons no longer jump around during the reveal.
- Example sentences always show the exact form of the word you're learning.
- Speech recognition no longer mixes up a few similar-sounding words.
- Press and hold the app icon on your Home Screen to quickly send us a question, a bug report, or an idea.

Thanks for learning with us — happy speaking!

### 1.21 — 2026-07-14

Bug fixes and improvements.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-07-12

What's New in 1.6.0

- Quick Review, whenever you have a minute. A new voice-driven mode gathers all your due words into a single screen — just start speaking to run through the set. Tap a blurred word to give up, flip any result the app got wrong, and finish on a little congrats screen. Look for Quick Review in your learning list.

- Watch your progress build. The streak view now shows real stats and a words-per-day chart — scrub across any day to see exactly how many words you learned.

- Sharper recognition. Say a close cousin of the target word and the app keeps listening for a few seconds instead of cutting you off, giving you the chance to land the exact word — plus more careful checking for fewer wrong accepts.

- Better-sounding sentences. Example-sentence playback now uses the best pronunciation voice installed on your device, and points you to Apple's enhanced voices if you'd like to upgrade.

- Polish throughout. A refreshed welcome and onboarding flow, a few more vocabulary corrections, and plenty of small fixes — including audio that could linger after you left a lesson.

Thanks for learning with us — happy speaking!

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-06

What's New in 1.5.0

- Example sentences, everywhere. Each of the 5000 words now has a natural example sentence showing how it's really used. You'll see it when a new word is introduced, and in the word details — tap it any time to hear it read aloud.
- Tap any word to explore it. Word lists got a refresh: tap a word to open a detail view with its translation, example sentence, and pronunciation audio. Translations in the list stay blurred until you look — a nice way to quiz yourself while scrolling.
- Faster, more accurate recognition. The app now accepts your word noticeably faster when you're retrying after a miss, does a better job with long Spanish words, and recognizes correct pronunciations more reliably across the board.
- Cleaner vocabulary. We reviewed all courses end to end and fixed a batch of translations that didn't quite match their word.
- Smoother browsing. Opening large word categories no longer stutters, plus plenty of small fixes and polish throughout.

Thanks for learning with us — happy speaking!

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-01

What's New in 1.4.0

This update is all about hearing you better — recognition is steadier, especially when you repeat a word or you're somewhere noisy.

- More reliable recognition. We fixed a couple of cases where the app could get stuck and stop accepting you: saying a word again to try it a different way, and saying a similar word just before the one you're actually practicing. Both now work the way you'd expect.
- Better in noisy places. We tuned recognition to do a better job picking out the right word when there's background noise around you.
- Smoother setup. Fixed an issue where the placement test during onboarding could run the wrong course.
- Plus a small vocabulary fix and under-the-hood polish.

Thanks for using the app — happy learning!
