Waste of money- would like a refund. ### 1/5 — Over priced *2012-03-30* Good program but overpriced for the amount of material that you get. I've downloaded free podcast with way more material. Also this is not really a program for conversational Zulu. This is more just word games and memorization, not really useful in the real world. Then again you can't expect much for ten bucks, considering most language programs are in the hundreds of dollars. I wish I would have been able to see some reviews before buying. Might of skip this one. ### 1/5 — Not value for money - buy a book instead *2011-12-14* Not enough focus on pronunciation or sentence structure, app offers very limited vocabulary and should really be on the market at $3 not $13 ### 2/5 — Not actual zulu *2020-07-19* 25 percent of the words have just an I in front of the English word instead of the real Zulu word. It starts off good and then its like the people who made this got lazy.. I’m disappointed. **Developer response:** We are incredibly thorough with our language research. For every language we record we always use two native speaking translators and two native speaking voice artists, so that our customers can learn a language as it’s really spoken. And, as the Encyclopaedia Britannica confirms, Zulu has borrowed many words from English. This is not an uncommon practice but we understand it can be frustrating for English speakers. (Our app is designed to be used by speakers of 100 languages.) However, vocabulary too small with too much emphasis on "borrowed" words where a letter is simply added in front. The section on countries is a waste of space. Phrases starts to become useful but includes words not in the basic vocabulary. No explanation of the difference between talking to individuals and groups. Phrases also spoken very quickly. Speaking of words does not always work on my app. Potentially good, but poor value with current limited vocabulary. ### 3/5 — Good refresher *2011-12-10* Not a great app for first timers, but if you have some familiarity with Zulu, this is a good app to brush up with. It is a bit pricey and the audio doesn't work at all! ### 3/5 — Great starter App, but needs work *2011-02-07* A few suggestions: 1: Slow down the words. The person speaks too fast so it's hard to hear the pronunciation. 2: Allow the App to save user recordings so you can refer back to them and check your own progress of your pronunciation of the words/phrases. 3: Allow the user to check mark words that he/she has completed and which ones he/she needs to work on more. ### 3/5 — Mrs *2010-11-27* Not bad ### 4/5 — PLEASE INCREASE VOCABULARY!!! *2012-12-25* Brilliant for learning but you gotta increase the amount of words for translation I spent 30 mins and did everything your app had to offer ### 4/5 — Excellent *2012-01-19* Flying to ZA next week and need to pickup some Zulu quickly.
