## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No app support!

*2025-11-10*

On the other hand I don’t know whats the purpose of having premium if you can find for example; The Starry Night by Van H.

**Developer response:** First of all, is Vang Gogh, no Vang H.

Second, there is some artwork that are protected to be shown in any web or app under privacy policy.

### 1/5 — Oh well

*2025-10-28, version 1.3.2*

It was offered for free today (Oct 27, 2025) on AppAdvise, but the app was conveniently formatted so that the “free” link was just outside the clickable area making it not free as advertised.

### 1/5 — Fill 2/3 of my iPad’s screen

*2025-10-27, version 1.3.2*

I don’t like what I see in this gift horse’s mouth. To begin with, I downloaded the Art History app for free through AppAdvice—or I think I did. The elongated presentation on my iPad screen displayed the LIFETIME FREE offer with only the top part of the purchase tab revealed. For all I know, the hidden portion of the tab, that I reluctantly tapped, read, “$1 million.”
My guess is that the way in which the app fills only a portion of the screen is caused by a large number of AppAdvice users taking advantage of the special offer and overwhelming the server. In any event the actual artwork cannot currently escape the boundaries of the app rendering it impossible to view a full screen painting. Moreover, there exists a toggle switch intended to turn off the annoying dark mode. The switch doesn’t function.
(I tried using my iPhone, and the app filled the screen, but the free offer tab was placed precisely over the TERMS tab. Which one do you think was activated with every attempt?)
If these conditions persist, I’ll delete the app in the next few days.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-10-27, version 1.3.2*

I can’t even get past the second screen as it freezes.

### 4/5 — Inspiration at My Fingertips

*2025-11-05*

LearnArt always surprises me. The daily masterpieces are so inspiring and the way they explain the meaning makes me appreciate art so much more. I’m obsessed!

### 4/5 — Art Has Never Been This Exciting

*2025-11-05*

I used to find art boring until I downloaded LearnArt. Now I can’t stop exploring! The app makes every painting cọme alive with amazing insights. Addicted is an understatement.

### 4/5 — Great art app

*2025-09-28*

Love all the description that generates for daily artworks!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Any advice to get the 5 stars review?

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2026-03-07, version 1.4.11*

There are so many talented artists and beautiful pieces of artwork. Thank you for creating a simple and straightforward app to access a portion of them.
Very much appreciated.

Have you considered an iPad version of this for a full screen view?

### 5/5 — Getting there!

*2025-12-29, version 1.4.4*

A special thanks to Pavel, the developer behind this piece of art app, he’s been very cooperative and aware of the app improvements. Support this fella, this is a great app for absolute amateurs in art till total pros!

Still missing the: The Starry Night by Vincent Van G.

### 5/5 — A Great App

*2025-11-29, version 1.3.7*

I originally downloaded this via AppAdvice. Initially, there were some glitches. As a preface, I note that I have downloaded many apps over time. Where there have been issues, the App Developer has usually been good about working with me and replying. It’s at this point that I feel compelled to make the following remarks about LearnArt and its developer. First, I enjoy the art world in all forms. LearnArt does exactly what it says. Each day I look forward to opening the App to learn about another genre within the “Art World” and the details of the piece I’m investigating. The developer has done a stellar job of creating this App. But to me, just as important is the support that is provided should an issue develop. To anyone considering this app, please have no concerns or reservations. I have emailed the App Developer on many occasions even within the same day. To his credit, I wish to clearly note that he has responded each and every time usually within the same hour! He has welcomed my questions/comments and provided clear support while still ensuring any glitches are resolved. Moreover, the App Developer has expedited an update and again contacted me and offered instructions. My issues have been addressed and apparently resolved. I am pleased to have been able to converse with a true professional who works tirelessly to ensure his product works as advertised. Submitted with respect.
Update: (11-29-25) I am compelled to update my evaluation to reflect the tireless effort by the App Developer to frequently update the App but moreover to expedite response to customer questions/issues often within a few hours. This is not the norm. I wish I could award more stars. 😊😊😊😊😊

### 5/5 — Artwork in your pocket!

*2025-11-20, version 1.3.5*

…and, hopefully, on the iPad, also.

I love learning about the history of different pieces, and this app has a plethora to explore. I hope iPad — and, maybe even tv (something akin to the ‘Art Legacy’ and ‘Degas’ apps) — compatibility is implemented soon as these works of art would look gorgeous on a larger screen.

### 5/5 — Why not develop some widgets

*2025-11-12, version 1.3.3*

As stated above

### 5/5 — My daily art app

*2025-11-04, version 1.3.3*

I open LearnArt every morning — it’s like having a mini art museum in my pocket. The artworks are stunning and the stories behind them are fascinating. I’m honestly addicted!

### 5/5 — Really cool

*2025-09-25, version 1.2.22*

Using this app feels like taking a mindful walk through a gallery. The focus on emotion, texture, and interpretation gives each piece new depth. It’s both relaxing and intellectually stimulating—a rare cọmbination. Perfect for daily inspiration or deep dives into art history
