## What is Learner?

Learner is an English vocabulary trainer for Russian speakers. Every English word is learned paired with its Russian meaning, and it's built on a spaced-repetition algorithm: the app decides which word to show you and when, so it sticks in your long-term memory with minimal effort.

No cramming word lists. Every day is a short session of flashcards, picked for your level and your progress.

  HOW IT WORKS
  • English ↔ Russian, both ways. You practice recognizing English words by their Russian translation and recalling the English word from Russian — the two directions that make a word truly yours.
  • Smart spaced repetition. A custom memory model tracks how firmly you know each word and brings it back right when you're about to forget it.
  • Three exercise types: recognition (EN→RU), recall (RU→EN), and typing the word into a real sentence. From easy to hard — formats unlock as you grow.
  • CEFR levels from A1 to C2. Pick your starting level, unlock new words gradually, and celebrate every level-up.
  • Your own pace. Set a daily goal: 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 new words. The plan is counted in cards and eases off gently if you miss a few days.
  • Pronunciation audio, so you remember more than just the spelling.
