My son wanted it so we bought it so we could place certain levels and then once we bought it, he still couldn’t play the levels

Please try to log in with your Apple ID, which was used for purchase earlier. Then reinstall the app, go to the app's Settings and choose "Restore Purchase" with an active internet connection.
