Buttons don’t work. Payouts are wrong. I am stuck on the ninth level. ### 2/5 — Black $100 chip doesn’t work *2024-12-15* Would love to give this app a higher rating, because it is really a cool idea. Unfortunately the black $100 chip does not work, so I have to pay out $100+ with a bunch of smaller chips -which I would naturally not do in real life. ### 2/5 — It’s a good concept *2021-09-21* I like the idea, learning the pay outs, but it’s so basic, it’s the same thing over and over, Can we get more common bets? Such as $25, $35 and some un common bets too **Developer response:** As you increase in level difficulty you will encounter the common bets that you have mentioned ### 2/5 — Love the concept *2019-12-06* The chips part works great for me but on the counting the cards part after I played it a few times it starts to stop me in the middle of the timed amount and says you got 6 correct or zero and says my highest score sometimes out of no where when I close the app out it works correctly again the first time or two then gets wonky again till I force close it. Maybe it’s because I’m on my iPad. Paying 2.99 for a great but simple practice is fine if it works correctly but I wouldn’t have spent the 2.99 if I knew it had a glitch. **Developer response:** Sorry for the late reply. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Payout *2024-10-03* When totaling the payout the .25 cent option isn’t available ### 3/5 — ..I mean it’s good for what it is currently. *2024-01-31* For what the app currently is, it’s pretty decent. The only issue I have with the app is not being able to reset immediately. When I make a mistake on the blackjack payouts, the app literally forces you to continue with the entire level before allowing you to redo the current level. Another thing I noticed about the app, is when counting the card values, the app is a little slow when trying to keep up with the resets. When the 30 seconds are over, and you try to reset quickly before the app can tell you how many hands, you’ve completed correctly, the prompt for how many you got correct, will appear during another round which gets in the way of continuing the new round started. Also the 30 second timer does not count down all the way (it stops midway through) Here are some features I think, would be nice on this app: -having the ability to customize the cheques in terms of color and value to reflect the casino you work in. Not all casinos have .50¢ cheques. -Being able to play a two hands and entering the value of the player cards (like a modified version of what the app already has) -A reset button for the main “total value” section of the app. -A section to test insurance bet knowledge like the blackjack payouts. A section where you have to figure out “cheque change” for buy-ins. As well as changing cheques/coloring up to higher values. Overall I believe this app has a lot of potential to develop further :) ### 3/5 — Could be better *2022-06-23* This app is great for learning blackjack math, but the only annoying thing is, while doing payouts, you must get 100% before going to the next level. You can keep going after failing one, which feels pointless because you won’t be able to advance. To restart, you’d have to enter the wrong answers for the rest of the questions. A restart button would be appreciated for this. I would say it could use more options, but when it comes to blackjack, all you need to learn is how to do the math quickly for the Blackjack Payouts, and the Total Card Amount. Maybe a conversion for when a player asks for different colors could be added, but there are only two modes. Overall, this app is very useful if you’re training for a job as a Casino Dealer. ### 3/5 — Ok but buggy and annoying lack of features *2020-08-13* The app basically works. But is buggy. If you do time based card addition then switch to 3-2 or 6-5 payout it get confused and pops up messages about time spent. Minor glitch. Very annoying is that it doesn’t remember your level when you reopen app. So if you are struggling with level 7 on payouts you have to waste 15 minutes doing levels 1-6 to get back to it. ### 4/5 — Casino Manager *2017-11-01* Has a casino manager from these two apps very helpful to my staff and myself... curious if you have,or working on creating, a learn to deal Baccarat? **Developer response:** Tor Ree, thank you for such kind words, especially coming from a casino manager. I had concerns and questions about how the app functions and made a couple suggestions by messaging their Facebook page, regarding the app. Not only did they take my concerns into consideration, they updated the app to fix some issues!! Even with my 12 years of dealing, while on my break, I am able to quickly open the app and just use it to keep my payouts proper. One of the great things about this app, is it's ability to simulate a rack and use your own choice of chips to use. Every dealer knows, that doing numbers in your head, isn't for everyone, but to have the ability to use a rack, and choose the chip denominations, is HUGE! It's so easy to work with. I love this app!!! It's great for all levels! I have students who can not add their tallies and now instead of bringing a deck of cards everywhere they downloaded the app and off they went on progressing. The 3:2 blackjack payouts are awesome too! I really like the fact that the blackjack payouts are all different denominations. You have students who love the higher denominations but don't realize if they can't pay a $5 BJ then they won't be around longer enough for the bigger players. I can't wait for the 6:5 payouts!
