The lessons don’t even open when you attempt to click on them. They added in a 19.99 charge for a book that was not ordered and never showed up anyhow. for the few paragraphs of “lessons” there is no audio attached and you’re essentially reading a paragraph that could’ve been googled for free. And customer service auto generates replies two days after a complaint emails file. Complete waste of money! ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-08-04, version 1.4* I signed up for Learny expecting a valuable learning experience, but was quickly disappointed. The app did not deliver on its promises, and within a short time( less than 1 hour )I realized it wasn’t a good fit. When I requested a refund, I was met with repeated canned responses citing their “no refund” policy, despite the fact that I reached out immediately and didn’t receive meaningful value from the service. They canceled my subscription but refused to issue a refund : no accountability, no flexibility, no real support. A company that truly values its users should not hide behind rigid refund policies, especially when the product fails to meet expectations. This approach feels more like a cash grab than a service rooted in trust or customer care. I do not recommend this app to anyone. Try platforms that actually stand by their product and treat their users with fairness. ### 1/5 — Scam! *2025-07-23, version 1.3.3* I would give zero stars if I could. I signed up through an Instagram ad and paid for a one-month trial, but when I downloaded the app, it still demanded a separate weekly payment. I contacted support right away to cancel and request a refund, but they refused and offered no help. It feels like a scam—they just want to keep charging you. The FB ad showed where I’ll be given a routine schedule of short lessons on how to communicate confidently and eloquently, but received nothing via email or through the app. I don’t have time to wait for an email response…. Trying to get my money back…. ### 1/5 — Misleading *2025-07-08, version 1.3.2* The advertisement for Learny led me to believe it was geared towards etiquette, however it’s random facts pooled together about nature, history, logic, etc. It did not align with their advertisement. Also, I had signed up for the $10 trial, but didn’t realize that it looped me into a subscription that cost me $24.98 (automatically) the next month. I reached out to Learny right away to address this and they were unwilling to refund the second month. My loss all the way around. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-07-07, version 1.3.2* Please send my money back. I subscribe for one month that was $9. But you deduct $40 from my account. That is clearly a scam. Please send my whole money back I don’t want to subscribe anything. ### 1/5 — Disappointingly Basic *2025-07-07, version 1.3.2* I joined and paid for the annual subscription (which wasn’t cheap) and it’s basic information. I haven’t learned anything new and the lessons are nothing like they were advertised. The marketing advertisement is a total bait and switch. I regret purchasing this and wish I could get a refund. Don’t waste your money. ### 1/5 — Utterly disappointing *2025-07-05, version 1.3.2* If I could give this app, no stars, I would first of all it start with the app itself and my subscription. I had made a subscription purchase for a week to test the app and what not however I was never allowed to login. I tried every other option I Tried multiple different ways of logging in and even when as far as contacting Support, which was even a greater disappointment. Not only was not able to login, but I also never got the chance to utilize the app and never got a refund based on the negligence on their end. Once I contacted Support and let them know the situation day didn’t do anything to rectify the situation like even reinstating my week that I have paid for due to the implications at hand, but they pretty much said they don’t issue a refund because it’s in their policy. I would totally understand that if it was something on my end, but the fact that I couldn’t login at all would be a malfunction on their end and so I feel like I should’ve been able to get at least the week that I paid for once they were able to provide me the ability to login either way this is the worst app the worst customer service that I’ve ever had and I highly recommend you stay far away from this App and anything made from this producer ### 1/5 — Double payments *2025-07-02, version 1.3.2* I paid for my app. They sent me a link to download the app and then they wanna charge again. Earlier, I was not only charged for my free subscription but for another month after I cancelled. I cancelled it again through the App Store successfully.
