## What is LeashMates?

LeashMates is where dog parents meet. Discover other dog owners near you, match with the ones you click with, and set up walks, playdates — or dates — for you and your pup.

Think of it as making friends — or finding someone special — for you and your dog at the same time.

WHY LEASHMATES
• Discover local dog parents — swipe through nearby owners and their dogs
• Match and chat — when you both like each other, start a conversation
• Share photos — send pictures right in the chat
• Filter your feed — by dog size, owner preferences, distance, and more
• Build a real profile — show off your dog's breed, size, personality, and your favourite walk types and availability
• Choose your mode — connect for walks and friendship, dating, or both

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create your profile and add your dog
2. Add a few photos
3. Start discovering dog parents near you
4. Like the ones you'd like to meet — match when it's mutual
5. Chat and plan a walk

LEASHMATES UNLEASHED (PREMIUM)
Ready for more than a walk? Unleashed unlocks the full dating experience and gives your profile the spotlight it deserves:
• Unlock dating mode — see which local dog parents are open to dating (not just walking), and filter by what you're actually looking for
• Get discovered — your dating profile becomes visible to other Unleashed members, so the right people can find you
• Skip to the front — dating-enabled matches you're compatible with are sorted to the top of your feed
• A free daily boost — jump to the front of the entire queue once a day, completely free, for a serious spike in visibility
• 100% ad-free — swipe, match, and chat without a single interruption

Subscriptions renew automatically and can be managed or cancelled any time in your Apple ID account settings.

SAFETY & PRIVACY
• 18+ only
• Block and report tools on every profile
• Your exact location is never shown to other users — only your city and an approximate distance
• Delete your account and data any time from Settings

Your dog's next best friend is waiting. Download LeashMates and start meeting local dog parents today.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.10 — 2026-10-05

LeashMates helps dog parents meet other dog parents nearby. Swipe through local dogs, match, and chat to set up walks and playdates. Find trainers and dog services in your area, scan a Connect code to link up with someone in person, and get alerts when a dog goes missing near you.
This update also includes general improvements and fixes to keep LeashMates running smoothly.

### 1.2.9 — 2026-09-21

Adding a second dog to your profile is easier to find, and we fixed an iOS sign-in glitch plus a location-permission issue.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-09-16

Lost your dog or spotted one nearby? Report it, get alerted to lost dogs near you, and help reunite a dog with their family.

Found a trainer you like? Request a walk right from their profile.

New: Dog Services directory, so you can find dog-related services in your area too.

Smaller bug fixes and reliability improvements.
