Don’t use it after any update or upgrade. Customer service is helpless and the support chat is dead. Live chat takes forever to respond and email comes with apologies and holding response. Sometimes the company should give realistic feedback and prioritize customer. Why introduce a feature that is unstable and rushed. ### 3/5 — Good *2025-02-27* The app is awesome. On October 11, 2024, my family friend, Mr. Murdoch, sent me £2,287 via Leatherback, and I immediately provided all the necessary documentation to receive the funds. Despite fulfilling every requirement, the money has yet to be released, and their customer service has been completely unhelpful. This is not a minor delay. I’ve been in constant communication with their support team, but all I receive are vague responses without any real progress. The lack of urgency and transparency is frustrating, especially considering the importance of the funds to me. Desperate for help, I even reached out to Leatherback’s CEO and key executives via social media, tagging them multiple times with my ticket number (#12906). I also tagged relevant authorities like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria, hoping to draw attention to the issue and the apparent incompetence within Leatherback. As a customer, this situation has caused undue stress and financial strain. I trusted Leatherback with an important financial transaction, expecting reliable service, but they’ve shown nothing but delays and unprofessionalism. Do not use them, I’ve sent money to fund my account since 7 days now and nothing is coming through from them. The rates for international transfers are much cheaper compared to other apps I've tried. But there’s nothing good offered to me. Ordinary Nigeria bank account, your company couldn’t successfully give me, not to even mention a foreign account!!! I have uploaded documents over 3 weeks still pending. Your company rating doesn’t even deserve 1 out of 5. ### 2/5 — Identity failed *2024-01-05* Been trying to sign up my identity since I downloaded the app, always says failed so many times. In my experience, they are not reliable. They hold on to your money and make the process extremely frustrating. I found their service disappointing and would not recommend it to others.
