### 1/5 — disaster

*2022-05-02, version 3.2.1*

It does not take vaccinations done outsider of Hong Kong into account. As a result, my third shot done in HK is considered as the first shot. Now, this app just shows that I haven’t met the requirement for accessing anything.

### 1/5 — The newest version has bug

*2022-05-01, version 3.2.1*

Vaccination record does not show

### 1/5 — Family members that don’t have a mobile phone!

*2022-03-09, version 3.1.0*

The app should also include family members’ vaccination records because children and the elderly don’t have a mobile phone! HK government should model Singapore’s TraceTogether app! It is a great app!

### 1/5 — Trash app, hello ?

*2022-02-23, version 3.1.0*

So lame … Hong Kong …why don’t just use the already available Apple exposure notification??

Man, at least make use of the iOS 15 API and make this lame app available for use in iOS widget

Bad app, bad government t policy . Made in China virus .

### 1/5 — What’s next?

*2021-12-10, version 3.0.0*

It is nearly impossible to determine when apps get updated now. What happens when this app gets “updated” in the future? What additional tracking capabilities will be attached to it? Step by step . . .

### 1/5 — Foreign SIM card Effective?

*2021-11-24, version 2.1.5*

Will visitors whereabouts be traced if foreign SIM cards are installed in their smartphones? Should they use local registered HK SIM cards?

### 1/5 — Too bad to handle

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awful

*2022-12-14, version 3.5.2*

Worst app ever. Each time I use it I am reminded how bad it is. 🤮

### 1/5 — trash

*2022-12-13, version 3.5.2*

trash app

### 1/5 — Garbage Grammar

*2022-11-24, version 3.5.2*

The Red, Amber Blue pop-up warning is incomprehensible. Whoever signed off on it should be embarrassed. It is unclear, vague and comes with a 14-year jail sentence threat. Lovely. Welcome to 1984. Persistent surveillance and Amber bans and pointless masking continues to deter business travellers and tourists. Enough already

### 1/5 — This app has no good purpose

*2022-11-01, version 3.5.0*

Besides those we aren’t allowed to talk about.

### 1/5 — Can’t turn off the password request

*2022-10-20, version 3.4.5*

It’s supposed to have a settings button to “enable” the password function. And that doesn’t appear.

Otherwise I despise this app and it’s implementation into the culture of this city. That we are still doing this and there is no plan to take it down in site yet is completely ridiculous.

### 1/5 — There is no point in this app

*2022-10-10, version 3.4.5*

Just stop being over cautious about it already, the whole world is living normally now and here you still use this QR code system to spy on people rather than caring about their safety. It seems this is a good tool to make “problematic” people locked in their homes with red QR code assigned by the order from above, it was already seen in China not very long ago

### 1/5 — DOGSH**

*2022-09-30, version 3.4.4*

the new update made some people’s codes say invalid even though they were according to regulations, because of a glitch. HOW DARE they stop people from entering places because they couldn’t code something right. sick of hong kong. this is absolutely disgraceful.

### 1/5 — What’s the point?

*2022-09-23, version 3.4.2*

The whole world in latter half of 2022 is moving on with opening up to the world, when omnicron variant symptom is similar to a common flu.

For HK gov to continue insist on contact tracing not only deter any visitors coming to HK (aside from the unscientific 3+7 or 0+7 or 0+3), it also proves to be a big inconvenience for any folks in HK.

This app is a giant waste of resources, time, money better spent elsewhere.

### 1/5 — I only have it because I’m forced to use it

*2022-08-24, version 3.4.1*

Almost 3 years of this clown show. I can’t wait for the day when I can delete this utterly pointless tracking app from my phone and forget it even existed.

### 1/5 — Unsecured app

*2022-07-29, version 3.3.0*

As audited and reported by 7ASecurity, this app seriously violated the privacy of users and the gathered info can be stolen be hacker easily

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Pretty good app

*2022-10-10, version 3.4.5*

I don’t understand the low ratings this app receives. It worked flawlessly for the 3 weeks that I was in Hong Kong and did its job well.

### 5/5 — Great app that lowers my rent

*2022-10-10, version 3.4.5*

I hope more people leave HK. :)

### 5/5 — 超級多bugs

*2022-08-15, version 3.4.0*

成日彈app

### 5/5 — STUPID HONG KONG CITIZEN

*2021-12-09, version 3.0.0*

BEST GOV APP FOREVER

### 5/5 — After Updated to Version 2.0.0 now can add my Vaccination and swab test QR Code

*2021-06-26, version 2.0.1*

Now succeed to add the vaccination QR code and my last swab test also succeed to add. Thank you.

### 5/5 — App works as expected but have a feature request…

*2021-05-19, version 1.1.13*

Feature request:
Allow user to generate a QR code based on the “checked in” location to share with friends to also scan same QR code.

i.e. when a group of friends choose to sit down first before scanning the QR code, one person can first scan the QR and login and then the QR can be shown in their app and then show their friends, and then their friends can scan the QR code from their friends phone screen to login too!

### 5/5 — Simple app and works

*2021-04-10, version 1.1.10*

For its purpose, it just works. Idiot proof…

### 5/5 — Shook.

*2021-02-22, version 1.1.5*

As a sporadic user of other online gov. services & having witnessed the tragic failure of 2020’s online lucky draw... I am positively shook that this (quite primitive) app actually works (and is mostly easy to use). The mafan bit is leaving the premises, you need to remember to RECORD YOUR LEAVE.

### 4/5 — Overall good app, but Leave Now button is misleading

*2022-04-28, version 3.2.0*

I love this app’s ease of use. I started using it when it first came out and it has been stable. There are a few things I wish worked better.

For example, the Leave Now button doesn’t allow you to leave immediately. It brings you to a second screen, where you can view yr vaccination code and choose Leave Now, or “Left Already.” One time I had to bring up my vaccination code quickly to get scanned and I didn’t know to press the Leave Now button to retrieve it. The button label should be renamed or maybe the first screen can have 2-3 buttons.

Most restaurants have devices set up, so you can have yr vaccination code scanned before entering. However, this has only worked 15% of the time. The devices seem to have trouble reading my code. Seems to need manual refocusing. Repositioning my phone does not always work.

Lastly, a nice to have is if the app worked with apple watch. Particularly the leave function. I almost always forget to press leave or my hands are full when the reminder comes on on my watch. The leave automatically function only has hourly intervals, which can make yr stay much longer than actual duration.

### 2/5 — Quarantine

*2022-10-17, version 3.4.5*

I did the math, 0+3 is 3. Now PHUK OFF.
