It’s pretty great and the convenience factor is next level. However, it’s telling me to update the app when there isn’t an update available on the App Store. I can’t even log in following all of the directions. It’s better to just use a CAC and CAC reader on your personal computer. ### 4/5 — A Good Start *2024-02-12, version 1.0.1* Following the instructions through the Leaveweb site made setup relatively simple, you just have to have the capability to have both your phone and a government computer up at the same time. The downside: While I only occasionally take leave myself, I typically have to go in and approve subordinates' leave about once per week. Being able to approve leave (not to mention authorize) via the app would make this much more useful. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-02-02, version 1.0.1* This app is useless. To set things up or access the app I had to use my gov email to access a verification link…if I have access to that I don’t need a mobile app. Completely useless!!!!! ### 4/5 — Not quite so bad, but needs work. *2024-01-25, version 1.0.1* I have skimmed through the reviews and it seems as though most people are just hating on it without getting their verification stuff set up. I had no trouble with that but I am running into trouble with the login button/link being unresponsive. It blinks and acknowledges that I’m pressing it but nothing happens. I’ve used the app prior and successfully submitted leave requested and checked to verify they went through. So I’ve had a good run of it in the past I’m just not certain what is causing my current problem with the login button. If you have a “quick fix.” That would be appreciated. ### 3/5 — Login issue. *2024-01-25, version 1.0.1* I was able to login in the past without any issues. Now when I press “login” it just highlights the button and nothing happens. Any suggestions on fixes would be appreciated. It’s a good app when it works. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Latest update broke the app *2026-06-16, version 3.0.1* The latest update broke the app. It always says that LeaveWeb is down, so I can’t log in at all. ### 1/5 — Updated app has issue *2026-05-26, version 3.0.0* If the month you are trying to take leave on has 6 rows of days on the calendar you cannot select the next button. If you go to a month that has 5 rows of days on the calendar, the next button is right under the time selection box. I used to have it set up and it worked flawlessly, and then it all got disconnected and stopped functioning properly. I’m getting stuck on the screen where it says it is sending me a push notification. Where is the push notification getting sent to? I configured okta on my computer with my CAC and then downloaded both the leaveweb and okta apps. When I try to log in on the leaveweb app it asks for email, but when I put this in it just asks for a password which I obviously don’t have. This is where okta is supposed to come in I would guess but it never happened. Highly recommend! ### 5/5 — App works great! *2025-09-30* PSA: Before downloading the app you must do it through the mobile instruction link within your current LeaveWeb profile as it will guide you through the steps of authenticating your CAC via okta as well as installing the Apps itself. This took me about 5 minutes and everything works as advertised. Side note: I have a friend that recently upgrade their phone, they had LeaveWeb mobile installed already on their old phone and the cloud restore did bring the apps back, but they soon found out that they had to re-authenticate through Okta. It was recommended to visit oktas website (link and instructions are located within the online help contents in LeaveWeb) and remove your old device from your Okta profile before going through the steps again. ### 5/5 — it actually works *2025-09-26, version 2.0.0* they ironed out the bugs and blessed us with this mobile app. I like it. You have to follow the steps via “Help Contents” on LeaveWeb but once you get passed that, it works fine. Nice to be able to able to view LeaveWeb when I’m not at work. ### 5/5 — Setup is painful but worth it *2024-04-19, version 1.0.1* Setup requires okta app in addition to Leaveweb mobile. However, I have found it to be consistently more reliable and faster that normal Leaveweb. It’s particularly good for signing off on leave which I get a lot of. I don’t even mess with normal Leaveweb now. The only problem is if you need someone to sign off on your leave that isn’t in your normal routing chain…. Then you’ll need to use normal Leaveweb. ### 5/5 — Great App! *2024-02-21, version 1.0.1* If you’ve correctly followed the instructions to set up the app you should have no problem. I was skeptical because of some other reviews that I’ve read, but after following the instructions on setting up the app, it works flawlessly.
