## What is LED Banner?

Your phone, held up as a scrolling LED sign.

Type a message, pick a look, and show it sideways or upright: the text runs across the full width at whatever speed you set, bright enough to read from the back of a room.

- 9 of the 12 color modes: rainbow, neon, cyberpunk, retro LED, matrix, emergency, ice, gold and plain color

- The classic LED dot grid, with dot size, spacing and glow
- Font, size, weight, italics and letter spacing
- Messages on several lines, and a color picker for the Solid background
- Full-screen display, sideways or upright, with the screen at full brightness and the auto-lock switched off

- 5 visual effects: mirror, CRT, scanlines, rainbow and fire
- No ads

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not export video or GIFs, there is no Home Screen widget, and it does not send the banner to an external screen or AirPlay. What you get is the phone itself as the sign.

COMMON QUESTIONS
How do I get out of the full-screen banner?
Double-tap anywhere, or tap the close button in the corner. It fades down after three seconds so it does not spoil the sign, but it stays there and stays tappable.

Does it need internet?
No. Everything runs on the device and there is no account to make.

Is there a watermark?
No, and there is nothing to export a watermark onto.

WHERE PEOPLE USE IT
Airport arrivals, concerts and fan sections, a market stall or a shop counter, a party, a proposal, a school corridor, a picket line, a hen night.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-28

Two new ways to make your banner stand out. Mirror: in Full screen options in the Motion panel, choose Horizontal, Vertical or Both. Horizontal flips the text so it reads correctly through glass (a car window, a shop window, an airport pickup on the other side of the door), and the scroll still moves the way you chose. Vertical flips it so you can hang your phone upside down. Blink: choose Off, Slow or Fast to make the text flash; with Reduce Motion on, Fast is softened. Both are saved with each banner and included for everyone. We also made small improvements and added support for the newest iPhones, including iPhone Duo. If the app helps you, a review helps us a lot. If something goes wrong, write to us from Settings.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-19

Holding a name up at arrivals? Sign mode shows one big, still message sized to fit the screen, upright or turned around, with a short list of names you can swipe between.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-10-13

New: show the sign upright (portrait) or sideways.
New: pick the color of the Solid background.
Square and Pixel LED styles now draw real square pixels, and messages can span several lines.
New monthly Pro plan next to weekly, yearly and lifetime.
Template names no longer use third-party brands.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-16

The scroll position came from the world clock, not from when the banner opened, and it showed in two ways.

Opening a banner dropped it at a random point in the cycle: the text almost never entered from the edge, it just appeared halfway across. And moving the speed slider made the text jump instead of speeding up — at 80 pt/s, ten seconds in, going to 100 shifted it two hundred points sideways in one frame.

Both came from the same place. The banner now counts the distance it has travelled, so it always starts at the edge, and changing the speed changes how fast it moves without moving it. Five tests pin the path.

The App Store page was also still the one from launch: it did not say what the free plan includes, and it carried a duplicate set of terms and privacy links.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-07
