Then all the sudden started having issues and now it crashes every time I try opening the app. ### 3/5 — doesn’t always connect but when it does it’s good *2026-07-20, version 4.3.5* the app doesn’t always connect to the light, often it takes ages or doesn’t connect. it used to connect seamlessly when i first got it. when the app is connected however the interface is good and so are the light options. ### 3/5 — Bugs *2026-07-03* It is getting automatically disconnected and requires to be reinstalled ### 3/5 — Very buggy *2026-06-21, version 4.3.5* I got these led star lights and needed to download this app because the remote that came with them didn’t work, occasionally it glitches out and the screen gets stuck, or won’t let me change the color or brightness, or the worst one, won’t let me turn the lights off! So I have to unplug the lights every time and the switch is hard to reach, I know the switch situation is like whatever because most people WONT have that problem it’s just very inconvenient. Overall I would recommend if the lights require you to get the app and it’s still fun when it works ### 1/5 — App Functionality❌❌❌ *2026-06-19, version 4.3.5* The lights look really good. All the colors are pretty bright the box works good to control them. The App for them however is terrible. After downloading you can open the app and connect to the light and use it once you close the application it will no longer start up the application. Doesn’t connect to lights and app crashes. Deleted and reinstalled several times still doesn’t work. UPDATE: 05/13/2026 FINALLY THE APP WORKS AS IT SHOULD!! Before, the app would crash after opening it and leaving the app. Once you minimized the app, you couldn’t open it again, it would never load.. you had to delete the app and redownload to be able to use it. It was such a headache. Glad the issue was finally resolved. Now you can close or minimize the app without fear of it not opening/loading again. Update today 04/21/25 didn’t do anything. Still trash and doesn’t work. Just pushing out updates for no reason at this point. Doesn’t even deserve one star. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND Supposedly the app was updated 11/18/25 but absolutely NOTHING CHANGED. Still crashes and have to delete the app and redownload after each use!! Terrible! They only “update” the app once every 8 months, but don’t actually fix anything. The voice control and music does not work. It’s a glorified led light and that’s it.
