## What is Lede?

Lede is a fast, calm RSS reader for iPhone. Follow the sites you choose, read them in a clean native reader, and leave when you're done.

READ, DON'T WADE
• Articles open in a clean reader with your choice of text size and typeface.
• Teaser feeds get their full text fetched automatically.
• Swipe up or down for the next article, right to go back, left for the original web page.

STAY IN CONTROL
• Starred, Unread and All on every list, plus a recency filter: Today, the past few hours, or the past week.
• Daily limits per feed: show only the first few articles a busy feed publishes each day, so it can't take over your day.
• Keep Articles cleans up after a day, a week or a month. Starred articles are always kept.

BRING YOUR FEEDS
• Add any feed, or just a website's address and Lede finds its feed.
• Import and export OPML to move from any other reader.
• Start with a pack of well-known feeds (news and tech, sports, food and crafts, and more), or with none.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• Everything stays on your iPhone. There are no servers of ours: Lede fetches only what your feeds point to.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-23

• Fixes empty article lists on iOS 26: feeds showed a count but no articles.
• Pull to refresh works on short and empty lists.
• Fixes article images that sometimes appeared for a moment and then disappeared.
• Mark All as Read in All Feeds now clears every feed, including articles only a feed's own list shows.
• Starred: Unstar All clears a list's stars at once, and warns when Keep Articles would then remove older ones.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-22

• Tap an article's image to open it full screen: pinch or double-tap to zoom, swipe down to close, and share or save it.
• Daily Limits now start at 50 a day in a feed's own list and 25 in All Feeds, so busy sites don't crowd out quiet ones.
• Mark All as Read marks exactly the articles it counted, and in Unread it clears the list.
• Daily Limits hold steady: once a day's articles are in, removing older ones never brings hidden ones into view.
• Charts, maps, audio players and other embeds show as links instead of disappearing.
• Cleaner full-text articles; pages a publisher marks as subscriber-only open in the browser instead.
• Titles no longer lose words that look like code or tags.
• Better large-text and VoiceOver support; the reader's toolbar shows read, star and Summary in orange when they're on.
• Faster counts on Home and smoother pulls between articles.
• Requests never send or store cookies.
• Starter packs: the Washington Post feed works again, and the Washington Examiner replaces The Right Scoop.
• Clear messages when you're offline or a feed stops working.
• Many fixes for unusual feeds.
