No functional archive, no search capability, highly intrusive app requirements such as access to contacts when clearly not needed for purpose of delivering news. More than half the time, when the app launches, the latest content doesn’t load, requiring me to hit Refresh. The app is slow, and more than one section won’t load reliably. And the news is never presented in any logical order. Now it is so irritating that I rarely use it. ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!!! *2014-07-06, version 5.2.0* This is my second or third time downloading this app. It was working fine for a minute and then one day out the blue requires me to sign into an account to view articles. This app is very annoying....if you want people to sign up for memberships then have your app require it from jump. Don't wait until the user has gotten comfortable and then spring requirements on them to view articles. This will be my final time I have downloaded and deleted this app. I will just stick with the WRBL and WTVM apps. Never had problems out of the WTVM app. I highly do not recommend this app to anybody. ### 1/5 — No stars *2014-07-01, version 5.2.0* Do not download ### 4/5 — An Easy and Reliable News Experience *2014-06-04, version 4.8.0.0* I used to only read the Ledger-Enquirer newspaper casually because the online website always had issues (bugs, kinks, premature killing of web pages) and I didn't want to pay for a print subscription (Who does?! Am I right or am I right?). After downloading this application, however, staying up-to-date on important local and national news has never been easier. Articles are displayed in a simple format with embedded picture thumbnails, and the app is extremely easy to navigate. This is a great source for anyone wanting/needing to refer to the Ledger while on the go. I only give the Ledger mobile app a 4 star rating due to its bland layout (my personal opinion). While it may not rival national news outlet mobile apps, I can assure you that you will NOT be disappointed by downloading the Ledger's mobile app. It is a great source of news regarding the Chattahoochee Valley area and the southeast region. ### 4/5 — New iPhone update *2014-04-10, version 4.8.0.0* Ledger Enquirer has got a whole lot better in the past few months.
