Most of us tend to rely on banks, lenders, and other financial institutions to determine the current state of our accounts, transactions, bills, loans, as well as many other aspects of our financial lives. Ledger puts the control back in your hands. You manage and track your own finances so that you know exactly what you have, down to the penny. Ledger places all your accounts, transactions, budgets, and much more in one place. Simple to understand and simple to manage. Unlike other apps, Ledger does not track or collect any personal or financial data. Your data is safe and secure on your own device, in your own hands. *** Features *** Accounts ---------- You can create different types of accounts, such as checking, savings, cash, or credit. You can also add card information to any account and access it from the dashboard by swiping right on the respective card. Groups -------- Use groups to organize as many accounts as you want in as many groups as you want. Ledger gives you full flexibility with groups and does not limit one account per group, nor one group per account. Have multiple users? Create a group for each person and place each account in the pertaining user's group. Have joint accounts? Create a joint group and place joint accounts in there as well. Have fun. Transactions -------------- Transactions are easy to create and easy to manage. Tap the big red "+" button to create a new transaction. Enter the amount and payee and tap Done. That's it. Ledger will even intelligently check for previous transactions with the entered payee and will autofill the information for you. So all you have to do is enter the payee and tap Done. No need to complicate things. Recurring Transactions ----------------------- Ledger gives you the ability to create recurring / scheduled transactions. You can set these transactions to auto-clear when due or simply get notified when they are due. Report glances: Report glances contain an overview of your financial behavior in a small, easy to understand glance. Tap on any point to get more information for that specific point. If you want even more detail on the reported information, simply go the the Reports section of Ledger. Budgets --------- Create budgets to limit your spending to a specific category or payee. If enabled, budgets will show up in the report glances on the Dashboard. Reports -------- Get detailed information of your financial behavior in the Reports section of Ledger. Reports include Cash Flow, Net Worth, Incomes, Expenses, Assets, Debts, Projection, and Statistics. Statistics will give you a full overview of all of your transactions, including daily, monthly, and yearly spending, top categories and payees, and much more. You will also be able to export a pdf file of your statistics, including each transaction in the selected time frame. Security --------- Have complete peace of mind by locking and securing your information with a passcode or touch / face id. Sync ------ Ledger can be synced across devices through iCloud or DropBox. For syncing across devices on separate iCloud accounts, DropBox must be used. Import / Export ------------------ Import information from CSV files and export data to CSV or PDF. Backups ----------- Using this feature, you can backup your financial data. You can also choose to enable Automatic Backups to backup your data on a daily basis. Cannot stress enough how helpful this app has been to organize all my accounts and keep expenses in order. ### 1/5 — Developer comes out with new sub based app instead of fixing old paid app *2022-01-12* Title says it all. Tried emailing support. My email was bounced back. I looked up zogo.co from the old Money Pro App, the developer put out and it’s up for sale. Just like other apps. This developer abandoned his recent app app then came out with this new app that’s just reskinned and didn’t add any new features and now it’s 36/year!!!??? Thanks a lot Seriously??. So much for this app!! What a sorry developer and lack of character.
