## What is Ledger?

Ledger is a private, paper-styled iPhone app for keeping a running log of the things that matter — habits, spending, health, work, or anything else worth tracking. It gives you the precision of a spreadsheet wrapped in the calm of a printed journal.

A LOG BUILT FOR ANYTHING

Ledger's core is a simple, spreadsheet-style table: each row is an entry, each column is yours to define. Date, text, number, category, toggle — mix and match however you need. Track your morning run, log a purchase, note a mood, record hours worked. The structure follows you, not the other way around.

Fully customizable columns, color-coded categories, and a clean layout make a month of records as readable as a single page. Time-based filters and full-text search let you move through your history without friction. The ledger scales from a single habit to years of detailed records and stays legible throughout.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Ledger was built around a clear principle: your records are yours. There are no accounts to create, no ads to scroll past, no servers receiving your data. Everything stays on your device. Optional iCloud sync brings the same ledger to all your Apple devices — through your own iCloud account, not ours.

Automatic rolling backups run quietly in the background, with one-tap restore and conflict-safe merging if anything ever needs attention. Nothing is at risk, and nothing is shared.

ALWAYS AT HAND

A Home screen widget and a Siri shortcut let you add a new entry in seconds, without ever opening the app. When you need your data elsewhere, one-tap CSV export sends it straight to Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets — clean, formatted, and ready to use.
