The lights / meh *2025-12-19, version 1.1.4* The lights could have far more functions. The Twinkle mode only applies to the white. And the twinkle is so frantic it’s anything but relaxing. I wish you could add a speed regulator at the very least. The tree is great. And the multi lights need a twinkle. Also the timer on the remote doesn’t work at all. ### 3/5 — Not great *2025-12-16* The App has a timer feature, but there are no instructions for using the timer so I can’t set it. I push the timer button and the tree flashes. What does that mean? Will it turn itself off at some point? If so, how many hours? At least I can turn the tree on to the setting I want. The remote control that came with the tree doesn’t work at all. The app needs updating. The dim feature on the app doesn’t work. The schedule timer doesn’t work and it would be nice if the colored lights twinkled just like the white lights do. seems like simple updates. I tried sending a message through the contact support # and for some reason it won’t let it go through. Tried it about 15 times. Also tried the phone number too. App does not give a lot of great color options, nor customization ### 1/5 — Unusable *2025-11-29, version 1.1.4* App will not scan the QR code. The help page is completely blank. The info page is completely blank. After not scanning the QR code and closing the app it brought up the tree controls but the buttons don’t do anything. It did not come with a remote so I’m relying on the app to take it out of demo mode. It’s not working. No one answers the phone at ledup. Home Depot refers you to ledup for replacement parts. I’ve emailed, called, chatted, texted, spent my whole day off trying to figure this out with zero answers. If you click on “help” in the app it goes to a blank screen, the company website lists numbers that are not in service. For a tree this popular you’d think they’d have a more reliable company producing them and running the app. I just want to buy replacement parts or get answers on how to get the app to work…. Although I cannot speak to issues experienced by others, this tree has worked as advertised. This year, 2023 the app on my iphone would not function. I simply deleted the app from the phone, rescanned the QR code on the instruction booklet and downloaded the new app v. 1.1.4. The QR code is only for downloading this app and not for adding the tree to your app. There is a code in your user manual which you type into the text box in the camera panel. After that you’re ready to go! I wish there was a little more customizability or smart home automation but who cares, it works great! Just a blown up version of the physical remote. The tree came with a remote of its own. After looking at the paperwork I saw mention of an app. So far I love the app and it lets me keep the remote put away out of the reach of the grandkids. Easy and quick response from the app. I’d like a way to make it work with Home Assistant, but we’ll have to experiment to see if that can happen.
