### 1/5 — App crashes when buying a pass

*2023-07-21, version 2.8.0*

This app is broken and crashes upon attempting to buy a multi-ride pass. This is ridiculous, this is a county utility, do better.

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2023-05-09, version 2.8.0*

Every time I try to purchase a pass, the app kicks me out completely.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-02-25, version 2.4.4*

This app is truly not user friendly. It’s a box checked that there is an app available, but lack of metric of whether it’s used. Total waste of tax payers money. Please fix this!

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2022-02-02, version 2.4.4*

If there’s a more user unfriendly app, I’m not aware of it. There’s no system map. How do you know what route to click on? Then, you can’t tell if the route is going north south east or west. When you click on the schedule link, it doesn’t give you the schedule. Pathetic

### 1/5 — Totally useless

*2021-10-09, version 2.4.4*

The old app was showing where the busses were. 15.32 and I am still waiting for the 15:17!!!

### 1/5 — No Point

*2021-04-29, version 2.4.4*

The app does not update the times of the location of the trolleys depending on traffic or lack thereof. Would not recommend.

### 1/5 — QR Codes 🤮

*2021-03-22, version 2.4.4*

QR codes have no place in transit. In the last few months, Cubic has launched four NFC transit cards on Google Pay/Apple Wallet. Why not allow us to emulate the NFC of our TropiCards? This app is so useless it might as well not exist.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-08-27, version 2.9.40*

This app is BS. I never was able to buy a ticket…. Other thing is that I never saw a single bus stop so what’s the point???

### 1/5 — Just a disgrace

*2026-03-07, version 2.9.40*

The schedule means nothing. Waited in Times Square 1.5 hrs for a Trolley yet app says one running every 15 min. Been that way for years.

### 1/5 — Needs a serious update

*2026-03-06, version 2.9.40*

How can you have a transit app without a map????? What a complete waste of time. With AI, this should take about 2 hours…

### 1/5 — Can’t even login

*2025-09-22, version 2.9.3*

Every once in a while, it’ll kick me out to sign back in and now that I’m trying to rush to the bus trying to pay your ticket it kicks me out to log out again and what happens is it’s saying that JSON is not compatible so why is the app now coding itself to tell and read it as if I’m typing in code as if I’m missing JSON code structure I’m typing my email in the password that was provided, but there’s some type of error with the coding enabling that

### 1/5 — Times are not accurate

*2025-06-25, version 2.9.3*

The app doesn’t show real time updates for when transit is off schedule. Waited forever for pickups that were not close to the time show on the app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-03-09, version 2.9.3*

Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2025-01-23, version 2.9.3*

I can’t purchase any tickets because the app only takes me to JP Morgan Chase bank. It doesn’t provide any options to enter in any bank info from any other bank.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work right

*2024-05-07, version 2.8.4*

I tried the app twice I got charged and when I boarded the bus the QR pass didn’t work twice. Way off money. Always have some spare change can’t rely on an app

### 1/5 — Use google maps instead. Not loading routes

*2024-04-23, version 2.8.4*

Im standing in front of a bus stop and upon opening the app no routes or other bus stops show up nothing. (Even have pictures) What do we pay taxes for? You can’t even keep a public transit application running accurately.

### 1/5 — Garbage App

*2023-12-12, version 2.8.4*

Don’t know how it got accepted to the AppStore. It has too many problems to enumerate in a review.

It lets you buy multiple passes, but you can only activate one at a time, so don’t buy two adult day passes for two adults for one day. Each person needs the app and their own pass.

Maps and navigation are pretty much useless. You lose your planned route as soon as you open your pass. It usually errors out and forces you to log back in again right as you need your pass to get on the bus. Support is done by a dog in a basement.

Use this app only for the e-fares, and use Transit or something else for planning your trips.

The trolley drivers are super nice!

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-01-08, version 2.9.40*

They fixed the bugs n it takes any bank just put your card in

### 3/5 — Charges and not receiving pass

*2022-06-21, version 2.4.4*

It’s a good app but I’ve been having a problem and I just had this problem today where I go to buy a bus pass and it will charge my card but not give me my pass PLEASE FIX THIS this is how I get to work

### 2/5 — Bus time

*2026-06-06, version 2.9.40*

If you don’t come 15 to about 30 minutes before the bus you might miss it. Some time the bus is late by up to 10 minutes. As someone who just started riding the buss, I learned that very quickly.

### 2/5 — QR code does not work

*2026-04-04, version 2.9.40*

It was easy to use, but QR code does not work when getting onto the bus. It says it’s not valid. Fix this asap!!!
