After you install their app, you go in and create a medical profile. Very simple process with drop down menus, and various choices that you select. The next step is choosing your doctor, which there are several there with some information about them. After making your choice and setting up your payment ($20), then you just wait a bit. Doctor reviews your information before he meets with you. The wait was about a half hour. I met with Dr. Murphy. Very friendly and calming demeanor. We discussed my condition and any questions that I should have. He ordered some medication making sure that I have a follow up appointment if it doesn’t get better. That was it. Before I left the site, I could see that the medication had been ordered and sent to the pharmacy that I had selected. For the first doctor that ended up canceling on me when I was finally next in line. Sent to three more doctors that did the same thing. On my last one and over 2 hours later I decided to download teledoc to which I went through the registration and promptly got a doctor to call me back within 5 minutes. Don’t bother with lee Telehealth and just go straight to teledoc. ### 1/5 — Does not connect *2020-03-25, version 12.0.412* I had a virtual appointment at 9:35 AM I stayed on till 10:52 AM. I kept seeing different names pop up and no one ever connected. The worse thing is they were calling me and sending me texts and you can’t see them while on line with telmed. I have waiting almost three hours to be connected with one single provider and as soon as I am next in line or in the top four, the system transfers me to another provider because my original provider is no longer available. The problem with this, is that it sends me to the back of the line with a new provider and - like I said - I began this process at 5PM. It is now 8PM and I’m still trying to get a provider to see me. My little one has an almost phobia type fear of going to the doctor, especially after receiving his past immunizations I can hardly get him into the car seat. If he suspects at all, he might be going to the doctor. Because of all the extra swabbing and test that are kind of invasive for a four year old due to COVID-19 plus just the regular anxiety of going to the doctor. It has become a a very traumatic event to be physically seen in the doctors office for my son on top of any somewhere, typical childhood illness, that he is experiencing. I have four kids and I've become pretty good at diagnosing your regular childhood illnesses whether it's a virus, cold, flu or an infection. This app and the service that the physicians provide truly make my child's health care so much more convenient and hassle free. I don't have to worry about exposed to other diseases while being treated or dragging him out of bed when he's otherwise not feeling good, and should be at home resting. It's definitely worth the $50. Started using this app during Covid when it was free but I continue to use it and pay for it because it's definitely worth it. I recommend it to anybody who has small children with a fear of going to the pediatrician office.
