I have had this app for some time and use the widgets. I don’t interact with it a bunch. But I liked it and I even paid for an in-app purchase a year ago for it to support indie devs. 

But recently, it keeps bugging me to upgrade *again*. Despite already have paid for the app a year and some change ago. 

Started as a great, well designed simple app. That was the appeal. Grow and grown and now kind of bugging me to upgrade like any other app.

You do not have to upgrade! A few of the new features require an upgrade because they have a cost of usage unfortunately. However if you’re not interested you can simply hide those features and they will never bother you again.

Paid for the subscription but the widgets still lagging not able to click my streak or ahead in anything for my widgets on my Home Screen so I’m just stuck with the general options nothing customized to me

Original: I’ve had this app almost since its release and purchased plus to support the developer. 

I would purchase premium if the numbers added up. It offers 60% off premium for being an early supporter, but the discount price as $49.99. The regular new lifetime price is $69.99… math ain’t mathing. The discounted price should be $28.

Shoot I wouldn’t have even said anything if it was close at $29.99.

Might want to update the wording in the app from 60% off or fix it to the right price for early supporters.

Can’t move the image how you want when making a background, and moves the image slightly to the left. Over all good though. I find the streaks and habits confusing but that’s a me issue. Giving a certain time for the lifetime purchase isn’t too fun. But I really enjoy the app , I like how I can keep track of things I’m trying to do and really visualize them. It is also good for helping me keep track of them and deadlines

Thank you for using Left and for your feedback! Please update the app to the latest version (v2026.8.2) and there is fixed already the image background. Now it allows you to move it and edit it before adding it. In terms of streaks and habits, I’m working constantly on improving it, especially the creation of. you will see already some improvements with this last update and on the next one will be even easier, by just describing in natural language what you want to achieve and how (for example “Run at least 20 miles every week, started 1st May and remind me every day at 9am”) and the app will set it up for you.

I don’t like that I already paid for the app when there was no subscription and now I keep getting pop-ups to purchase a subscription. Very annoying and the entire move leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

You do not have to pay again! All the Plus features are still there, will be forever and even more will come in future updates. Just make sure to restore purchases if your purchase is not recognized automatically. Please send me an email to cristianrus4@gmail.com if after you still have any issues.

The new Premium option is for features that have an ongoing cost for me (Friends, sync on the Cloud and Planner). Unfortunately the cost per year of use is way higher than the previous price of the app in the early days, I would simply go bankrupt if I enable them for every previous user.

### 2/5 — Great original concept but now with too much feature bloat

I liked the original concept of the app, so much so that I paid for it- but now the app is full of all sorts of other features that feel unnecessary, even games, and I also have to pay for them another time?? 

I understand maybe adding habits, and the "ahead" and "since" features sound nice (but aren't included in what I originally bought?), but now there's all these other "features" that feel unnecessary for what this app was, not to mention having to pay another time to get them.

It just feels like this app has lost sight of what it was trying to be and is now adding lots of extra stuff that feels like it should be an entirely different app.

Left is an app around the idea of time and how to become a better version of yourself making the most of it. The good part is that you can customize the app to be whatever you want. From 'Settings > Choose your tools' you can select which options to see and which ones to hide, so if you prefer not to use the new features you can simply hide them.

In terms of having to pay again, you do not have to pay again! All the Plus features are still there, will be forever and even more will come in future updates. This app gives me a brad view of time so different that it impacts my view of it. It is a great way of seeing your day, your month, year or a day that you are preparing for.

Enhancement: In habits, if the goal could be set like exercise minutes per day, which gets automatically picked from health app, rather than having to manually log it, just the way it is handled in streaks app, would be great.

Otherwise, for time “Left” related functionality and availability of widgets, this app is perfect. Nothing else needed.

Plus, A really interesting way of unlocking full functionality, which psychologically felt very comfortable than how it feels otherwise. That was a nice thing.

I would like to see three enhancements in the Import from calendar feature:
1. enable event multi select so that I can import several events at once. 
2. import is limited to the next 30 days. Please enable the next 3-4 months. 
3. Don't re import something that was imported before (duplicates)

Love the functionality, it’s amazing. Bless the dev for such an amazing app. For me, it’s also special as it kind of connects me to the idea of “momento mori” every time I look at the days left in the month. Wouldn’t pick another widget app over this, it’s straight up the only one you will ever need. The developer is also really nice, so if you ever have a bug or suggestion, don’t hesitate to contact them.

I was enjoying this app but each update breaks the widget. I’m using it to count down to an important date. Two updates ago the dots went from filling the page as normal to a skinny column with a lot of unused empty space on each side. The most recent update caused the widget to go completely black on my phone’s screen and I can’t figure out how to fix it.  The navigation is too complicated. I’ve about had it with this app.

App looked promising, even paid for it, turns out their main selling point the calendar with dots to represent the days only works for how many days are left in the year and not as a countdown to an event uve add to the app. Utterly useless app I could use just used some other free app which would give the same. Not changing this review as it’s unfortunate that it had such potential but the makers are just greedy

Promised a lot in the text, but all there is is an advertisement a bunch of dots and the date. I got rid of the ad and another showed up. There are no buttons, no menus and long pressing does nothing but show a random date at the bottom, even though the app says to long press. If there’s a UI I can’t find it.

The app used to be a small gem of minimalism, now it's thoroughly ensloppified and even just swiping it to the background entails a very obvious stutter and freeze. Badly optimized, too many features badly organized, the whole experience has degraded.
Also, but this is a nitpick, I constantly get the same "what's new" after each micro-update even if nothing of substance has changed.
No way to contact the developer.
Wish I could install the first version

You can visualize how much time left you have to accomplish your goals. You can create streaks to help you track how much progress you’ve made with good habits. You can use the planner tool to remind yourself of important events.

Those are only a fraction of the features that the app has. It’s a modern, fast app with a beautiful design by a solo developer who cares about feedback and listens to users. Highly recommend to those who are looking to track their best habits, eliminate their worst ones, and are committed to achieving their highest potential.

Everyone, this app is phenomenal. I am a very particular user and I don’t usually use apps which is not perfect in the way I would want it to be. But trust me on this, this is exceptional. The widgets are very beautiful and minimalistic, which enhances the look of your device and they are equally informative as well. The app interface is simple and easy to use and the date tracker section is very helpful. I was using a different habit tracker earlier but now have shifted to Left completely. And the price is totally worth it. In fact I’d say you’re get stuff that’s worth more than the price you’re paying. Getting so many different functions in a single app is very rare and Left has done it. The developer is extremely helpful and friendly and he responded to my queries promptly and satisfactorily. 
Absolutely go for it.
