## What is Lefty?

Every navigation app gives you the fastest route. Lefty gives you the one with fewer risky left turns, and shows you exactly what that costs in minutes. Usually two or three.

TWO ROUTES, YOUR CHOICE
Search a destination and Lefty plans two routes side by side: the fastest, and the Lefty route with fewer unprotected left turns and less undivided highway. Each card shows minutes, distance, how many left turns, how many have no traffic light, and how many kilometres run on two-lane roads with oncoming traffic. Pick either and drive with turn-by-turn guidance, spoken if you like.

WHAT LEFTY AVOIDS
Unsignalized left turns across busy roads. Left turns at lights that have no protected arrow. Undivided high-speed roads with nothing between you and oncoming traffic. Gravel roads. Right turns and divided highways cost nothing.

DRIVERS TEACH THE MAP
No map records which lights have a left-turn arrow, or when it runs. When you are stopped at a signalized left on your route, Lefty asks one question: arrow, or no arrow? When enough drivers agree, that intersection is confirmed for everyone, for that time of day. Earn points and ranks, from Rookie to Left Legend.

BUILT FOR CANADA
Routing across Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, with the densest arrow data in Toronto. More provinces as drivers ask for them. Outside coverage, Lefty shows Apple's route and says so. Made in Toronto by EzPanda Inc.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your location is used to plan and guide your trip and is not stored on our servers. Reports are anonymous. Trip history stays on your phone. No ads, no data sales.

LEFTY NEVER SAYS A TURN IS SAFE
Lefty reduces how many risky turns are on your route. At every turn you still look, judge and decide. Drivers remain responsible for observing traffic and obeying the law.

Lefty Plus (optional subscription): time-of-day arrow routing, cottage-country mode, trip history and export. Terms: https://turnlefty.com/terms · Privacy: https://turnlefty.com/privacy
