For me - this release makes the puzzles far too cryptic. You are required to make connections that are too much of a stretch for the game to be enjoyable. When I YouTubed the answer I wasn’t always left thinking ‘wow-that’s clever’, more-so I felt, ‘really??!’. And I say that as someone who enjoys this genre and did the first 3 releases without hints. Your Legacy games are amazingly illustrated however tomb of secrets is the third or fourth game developed by David that I’ve tried to play and some you pay for upfront but each and every game has some major glitches or bugs or something I end up deleting the game and I never finish then I might try another one of your games because they’re seductive. They’re so beautiful but the hints are out of sync and will not correct themselves on two of the last games. I tried to play so I just was so frustrated. I had to delete the game that basically for me ties my hands behind my back and I can’t do it anymore and I don’t know how to address that it sticks on let me show you and takes me to YouTube over and over and over again so I want you to know that because it completely sucks and it ruins everything if you could fix that oh that would be so wonderful thanks ### 5/5 — David does it again *2026-03-06, version 1.0.21* Beautiful visuals, challenging puzzles, and engaging narrative. First off, I don’t think it is worth the money to buy it to even try it. I have gone through only 9 rooms and am stuck. The reason is because I inadvertently broke a link that supposedly turns on a pipe, and there is no way of fixing it. I sat on this game for a couple of days and even try the walkthroughs and nothing works. The only way to fix the problem is to start over, which I don’t want to do. I can’t even contact the developer for assistance. It’s also illogical and utterly convoluted. Easily 60% of the connections…clue to clue and clue to solution…are irrational and truly threadbare. It’s not clever, it’s confused…soupy and cloudy. I like to be challenged but the clues in this one are almost impossible to find, what you have to do is just so weird it’s almost impossible to work out what you have to achieve. There are hardly any hints available which is strange when you’ve paid for a game, overall it’s just so frustrating there is just no enjoyment at all. Beautiful graphics and some clever stuff in it but just too clever for me, I need to be able to progress using some logic but some areas you get to you have zero idea where to start. Sorry Mr developer. **Developer response:** No problem, I understand that this game is not for everyone and that I sometimes is too much "outside of the box" with my logic. But there is a hint system, that you can use throughout the entire game. I assume you did use it but found it to be inadequate? Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated.
