The main problem is the progress. After 4-5 days, I was stuck and not moving from one sub floor (example: x-10 to x-11) to the other even though I tried to get all the good stats and tried all the draws possible for a better equipments and skills. Though I tried to get the best stats, the amount of damage that I am dealing is becoming stale. I tried to level up stats and getting better equips for the next few days after I got stale, but I only move like 2-3 sub floor. The progress is like none. There is other games out there that offer better gameplay feel than this. The important thing about this kind of game is how to make the players stay for a long period of time. I don’t know the right or the good answer, but for me, even if you have the best graphic or whatever, but I can’t advance in the game or progress further or feel like I am not progressing forward even after a few days of playing, then there is no point of playing or staying in this game or any game whatsoever. This is not a hack/slash game. This is a progression game with leveling stats and equipments, and if the core of the game feels cranky and unfulfilling, then no point staying in this game. **Developer response:** Hello! Thank you. ### 3/5 — Fun For A Few Days *2023-06-05* Game has good presentation but only took about 3 days to hit a progression wall where an entire day of idle rewards will barely get you through a single new stage. It's very satisfying at first but that drops off quickly. First, let me just say that the animation and manhwa art style depicting murim in an idle game is extremely well done. The attack animation, sound, etc. is extremely well executed. The gameplay is much like blade idle (a similar idle game from the same developer) but with a much better art style. Personally, I find that among the games I have played from them, this game has the best art style/animation and is also their best game with the most potential moving forward. Second, for people reading this review, the game is definitely worth picking up. Not only do I find this to be their best game, but for an idle game, the developer has implemented one of the best progression model you could think of - A ton of f2p rewards and freebies to kick start your idle journey in the murim world along with frequent f2p events and super generous coupons. The p2w isn’t anything game breaking, they simply consists of costumes with small stat boost and is mainly use for appearances sake; there’s also resource-time convenience purchases for those interested as well. So don’t worry, this game isn’t like the other idle game that will force you to pay to see progress. Third, some comments for the developer, if they’re reading this. I hope you guys continue to actively update and improve the game. I like how everything is in one server (hopefully that doesn’t change), and I would like to see more active updates in terms of art, items, mechanics, etc. Also hope we could get some cool background music too 👀 overall, I really enjoy the game and hope to see it grow even further! You progress fast. (Not incredibly fast, but at a steady rate.) Can pretty easily get good equipment. The animations and visuals are surprisingly crisp and clean. Pets are cute. Players are nice and helpful. Paying cash does help but you can easily compete with others who spend money if you are a f2p.
