Now I have been logged out and have no idea what my account info would be. Purchased every in game item and have countless hours played…. ### 2/5 — Could be good but unplayable on phone *2023-12-02* This is obviously a port from a desktop game - aside from tutorials talking about left/right-clicking, a lot of UI text and icons are so small and some text and background colors are too similar (like white text on yellow background) that I can't tell/read what they are on my phone (15 Max Pro), basically making the game unplayable. Shame because the original Legion War is pretty decent, and this one seems to add a number of nice features. ### 2/5 — Poor Man’s Civ *2019-11-02* This is a very poor man’s/woman’s Civ. Very basic turn by turn build up of “economy” at your palace. Sloooooooowly create stronger units and send them out to kill enemies on a grid map. Those enemies basically don’t even chase you, so you can go up and stab and then retreat. Rinse/repeat, try not to fall asleep ZZZZzzzzzzz The music is a lovely single score of repeating 30 second melody. Nice try but. ### 4/5 — Good game but buggy *2021-07-21, version 2.0.5* Using on ipad pro, game doesn't always respond to touch or responds in ways you don't want. Tutorial talks about right clicking etc so was obviously meant for pc. I’d rather just have a one-time payment for the whole game and everything even if it costs a little more than needing to have to pay for every little thing again. A lot to like! ### 4/5 — Great game, highly addictive *2019-07-30* Nice strategy game to spend time But in low difficulty enemy is just too weak to play against, on the other hand at higher difficulty, cpu trains several dragons at turn 40, and even normal soldiers attack two or three times each turn and cpu uses highest tier magic almost every turn - almost impossible to deal with. Lots going on and as any game with this much content and variability, I’m sure balancing will be an ongoing challenge and sometimes the balance will be off in any given scenario…but just start again because when you get a balanced game, it is a lot of fun and decisions/strategy/tactics really matter. The AI is no pushover and seems to make good choices. I hope the designers keep improving this game. It is a gem evidently crafted with passion. Well Done! Heroes and their skills look overwhelming at first, but just take the suggestion or whatever and pick up on preferences as you go along; it’s all reasonably intuitive... It forces you to complete 3 random maps before starting the campaign, all maps are huge so select the small random or you’ll likely get bored grinding the big ones... ### 5/5 — Amazing *2020-06-09, version 1.6.1* Really good work guys! Just hoping I don’t need to spend 6£ to play other Legions that are not human! 5 starts so far! ### 5/5 — I Almost Overlooked this Gem. *2020-02-27* The cute art style and polish of Legion Wars, I am ashamed to say, had me under the impression that it was a gacha game. Steam reviews read positively, so I decided to give it a try. I am really glad that I did. Legion Wars both Hero Age and the Original, deliver a polished, intuitive 4x strategy experience. Hero Age, takes it a step beyond its predecessor with branching upgrade paths for each unit and castle, each match, resulting in an immensity of creative freedom in how you play even one faction. The more I play these games the greater my appreciation is, for the work of the two person team that is Bear & Cat studios. The art is creative, the AI is strong, and most importantly, the game is fun on a level that few titles in the genre can match.
