The game has tons of levels and content to unlock. Everything can be unlocked with a currency you simply get by playing so nothing needs to be purchased.

There’s 4 difficulty-levels for the campaign and 5 difficulty-levels for skirmishes, so you always can adjust the challenge to your liking.

The AI seems to be decently competent. They keep their units grouped together, build a mixed army and know to use all abilities when they make sense.

The graphics look very cute and clean. You’ll quickly recognize the different units.

Only point to criticize ist the UI and lack of tooltips. Information about abilities, buffs and debuffs can only be obtained by clicking a units Info-button. It is also not quite clear why you can undo some things but not others. But I guess it is for not having an advantage over the AI. So you can undo a move but not using an ability. And once you moved you must use your ability immediately or skip it. You can’t first move one unit, then another and then use abilities of both.

The economic model is very simple. Castles build units, villages provide gold. If you lose all castles you lose. So you fight over castles and villages while trying to keep your units alive.
Units can level up to get stronger.

On the grand-scheme there’s upgrades that make units stronger. Those get more and more expensive the more you already have. Higher difficulties face you against enemies with better upgrades.

So New player
Didnt even finish the first lvl... i have no upgrade points.

The foe on lvl 2 hit 3 times harder than mine .. They kill off my whole team in 2 round, did it 15 times .. different match up always the same outcome ... the whole platoon is dead in two round... it lvl 2 ... why are the foe soo strong ... We barely have enough credit for 2 upgrade which doesn’t even boost the skills of the unit at all ..

how come the player only get to hit 27 pt while the foe go full on 55 point ... kill off the whole team in 2 round with 4 of their units ?

It’s lvl 2 ?

So this game seems really fun at first. That is until you get to further levels. What is the point of a game where the enemy can spawn endless reinforcements? It gets so boring I haven’t finished a match since the first couple levels. I honestly don’t get it.

策略兵推回合制遊戲，本作算是挺平衡的，大人小孩皆能上手，雖然地獄模式仍需更完美的規劃，尚待努力中～畢竟還要慢慢賺錢升級兵種～但整體不會太農，因為容易的其實不需升等，應該都能通關的吧！？
蠻想多點海洋生物的說，但作者大大們好像出了二代「war:英雄時代』都在那邊改版為主了吧
