We have the original trains from when my oldest was little and his twin brothers love them and the older interactive app. This new app lacks creativity and interaction. How does this new app inspire creativity when all you can do is watch a few videos of someone else building a track? I would caution anyone who doesn’t already own these trains, DO NOT BUY THEM!!!!!!!! The new app basically requires your child to stare at an iPad (increase screen time) just to have the controls of a simple handheld remote. At that rate, just buy them a regular remote control train! The old app was great - there were more controls (varying speed), there was a cute storyline while running the train and you could also see out the windshield like they actually were the train engineer. I believe there was also a part with different train track maps. This app seriously is useless… a few videos that nobody needs to watch more than once and a remote control with not much interaction that could be just a regular remote control at this point. My son is so disappointed. My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the old app with the ability to control the train on the app, play mini games, get stickers and fill the sticker book. It was wonderful for occasional entertainment outside of home. This new app is basically useless. It controls the new trains, but that’s pretty much it. I cannot roll back mine. Bitte macht von dieser Funktion gebrauch! Wenn man die Rezensionen nach „Neueste zuerst“ sortiert, dann findet man hauptsächlich ein- und zwei-Sterne Bewertungen. Wie kann es sein dass die App aktuell mit 4,3 Sternen bewertet wird? Nun zu meiner Bewertung: Liebe Produktentwickler, seit Monaten wird hier in den Rezensionen bemängelt dass die neue App im Vergleich zur Vorgänger App „DUPLO Connected Trains“, deutliche Einschränkungen hat. Und was macht ihr? Gar nichts! Warme Worte und nichts dahinter. Das nennt sich „cheap talk“ oder auch Heuchelei! Ich bitte euch den vollen Funktionsumfang der Vorgänger-App in der neuen App vollständig zu integrieren. Oder stellt die Vorgänger-App wieder zum Download bereit. Denn dafür haben wir das Set gekauft und viel Geld an euch bezahlt. Es kann einfach nicht sein dass ihr uns im Nachhinein Funktionen, die ursprünglich Umfang des Kaufes waren, wegnehmt! Wenn euch eure Kunden wirklich etwas wert sind, dann wäre es schön wenn ihr auch auf ihre Wünsche eingehen würdet. He doesn’t want the newer version and he hates the updated app. If it’s not broke, there is no need to fix it and there was no need to change the app. It was much more engaging with a better variety of activities and controls. Everything everyone else is saying is absolutely true. This has been a huge disappointment for my kiddo and my pockets. If I pay for an item, I expect to be able to utilize it entirely and to its fullest capability. It’s a little insulting that you’ve removed that option after already receiving full price. Would it have been impossible to keep the old app available as well?
