## What is Leica Calonox View?

The app is used to connect the Calonox View to the smartphone. This enables the use and further processing of photos and videos. To do this, photos and videos are transferred from the device to the app and can be used there. In addition, the video live stream can be used via the app and thus enables video transmission without cables to the smartphone or tablet as an external screen. The time display is newly integrated. Kein iPad Support, furchtbar umständliche Bedienung, Bildauswahl unübersichtlich (Sortierung und Beschriftung) usw.

Beim Download aus der App auf das mobile Gerät gehen sowohl Datum und Uhrzeit als auch der Dateiname des Bildes verloren. Die Uhrzeit ist also immer die Downloadzeit. EXIF-Daten sind überhaupt keine vorhanden. Außerdem wurde die Updatefunktion heimlich entfernt. Die Uhrzeitsynchronisation ist hingegen in ein anderes Menü gewandert. Auch dazu kein Hinweis.

Zudem scheint die App von einem anderen Anbieter zu stammen (China Produkt), d.h. keine Leica Entwicklung. Sehr armselig. Bin enttäuscht. Bei einem 4.500 € Gerät darf man auch von der kostenlosen App mehr erwarten.
