I am using it with the Leica grip. Missing the burst mode feature from the iPhone - please add it in a future upgrade. And soon - the first year subscription is free with the grip but annual renewal is very expensive and I will need some new features to justify the cost. ### 3/5 — Great but consistently buggy *2026-08-07, version 1.14.2* Love this app as it matches my m11-P lens choices (including the 40mm). I do however find that it behaves inconsistently: - it sometimes mixes up the 40mm and 50mm selection and I have to go wide then back to either 40mm or 50mm for it to work correctly. - consistent in not firing the shutter with the volume control (which is the easiest method for my requirements). Meaning I have to revert to the on screen button, which is not suitable. - somewhat laggy when trying to view what you have just taken and regularly loses a shot which shows up as a black/blank file. Fix these issues please Leica and this will be the best camera App for iPhone. But every time I open the app, it prompts me to select either my current setting or to allow total access. This gets in the way of quickly opening Lux via the Action Button and is a huge annoyance. Please remove this barrier! 🙏🏽 ### 4/5 — Fun to use but missing key function *2026-07-18, version 1.14.1* For this subscription it really needs the ability to control the shutter speed for capturing motion blur. The aperture mode is a bit buggy when processing depth of field; I’ve had some terrible results and it looks like AI processing that got confused. It’s also a bit laggy trying to take multiple shots in quick succession even on 17 pro max. Sometimes the photo doesn’t save to camera roll too. Je n’attendais pas de miracle, d’autant moins que j’étais sceptique sur les « couleurs Leica »… et j’ai été stupéfait et ravi de la différence ! So those of us who bought the products early are stuck paying $70 a year. While new purchases can get a lifetime license.
