• We’ve updated the app’s foundations — it now uses less memory and stays steadier the longer you browse.
• Small fixes and housekeeping under the hood.

### 1.1.8 — 2026-08-19

• Campsite pages now show a little map of where the camp actually is, just above the reviews — and the Directions button sits right below it, where you’d look for it.
• Tap WhatsApp on a campsite and your message is already written for you — the camp sees right away it’s an enquiry from the app.
• Your cellphone number is now required when you enquire or book, so the campsite can phone or WhatsApp you straight back.
• Fixed enquiries going to us instead of the campsite — your message now reaches the camp’s own inbox.
• A cleaner look — we’ve taken the numbers off the campsite list, the filters and the map, so there’s less clutter and more camping.
• Featured businesses take turns, so you get to see more of the directory.

• The August 2026 issue of Kamp is Lekker is here — and the free Magazine no longer gets stuck on an old issue.
• The campsite list no longer jumps while you scroll, and “Nearest first” now truly starts with the camps closest to you.
• Fixed the app closing on some phones when moving between the Map and a campsite.
• Getting directions now works when a camp or event lists only a street address — your maps app offers the matches instead of dead-ending.
• Events: finished shows drop off, and dates and details display properly.
• A simpler booking form — we’ve dropped the electricity question, so there’s less to fill in before you send your enquiry.
• Small improvements and polish.
