Lenme is a lending platform that connects people looking to borrow money with financial institutions, lending businesses, and individual investors looking to invest in the loan market. Users remain completely anonymous throughout the entire borrowing/lending process. For transparency and to encourage a fair and competitive market, the “feed” tab within the app allows users to see which loans are being funded and at what interest rate.

Lenme offers monthly and annual subscription plans available via In-App Purchases. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.

Crypto-backed loans, our new product allows investors to fund cash loans backed by cryptocurrency owned by the borrower. Cryptocurrencies are used as collateral and may be liquidated in case of default or sudden price drop of the held currency.

Since our app is not directly involved in the lending decision, we cannot guarantee the interest rate borrowers will be offered. All borrowers have the option to request a loan on our platform for up to a 12-month repayment period, paid in installments. Lenders can offer loans for a minimum of 3% APR based on the credit score and their own criteria. The lending decision is based on multiple factors viewable on our app, including credit, income, and cash flow analysis.

A representative example of the total cost of the loan, including all applicable fees: If you borrow $1,000 over a term of 1 year with an APR of 12% and an origination fee of 1%, you will pay $89.75 per month. The total amount payable will be $1,076.96, with a total interest and fees of $76.96.

I have tried on multiple occasions to get past the ID verification part of this process and I keep getting “oh-No” screens telling me my face doesn’t match my ID. I have changed lighting taken my glasses off and all and still nothing. I even reached out to customer support just to be told ID verification is through a Third party and there’s nothing LENME CAN DO!!! I am furious at this point and I’m not even going to continue trying to get this to work!!! If I could rate this a negative star I would.

They aren’t giving you a cash advance. It’s a loan app. They want you to pay for a subscription and then wait for lenders to accept you. They take all of your banking info and connect just to not give you an advance. Waste of time

Highest default rates I have ever seen on a peer to peer platform as an investor. Thankfully I kept my initial investment low at $800 split amongst 6 borrowers. Default rates of +60% with all borrowers I funded rated at 80/100 or above by lenme. I understand narrow sample variance but this was brutal. Take your money to more stringent peer to peer lending platforms for borrowers if you intend to keep any investment.
