## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2026-04-28, version 1.0.7*

I have used Leo for a while and they were fine with the color scale. The app has not worked for me to date as I always get an error. I emailed customer service and have not heard back yet.

### 1/5 — Would not buy again

*2026-04-25, version 1.0.7*

I’ve been using the Leo testers and not getting clear results. Either nothing, super faint lines, etc. I downloaded the app thinking the Leo my food would help but no matter the clarity of my picture it says image not clear enough. Super frustrating for tests that are expensive to not work.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-04-03, version 1.0.7*

I tested this on a snack that showed gluten free on packaging… yet test shows has gluten

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-03-18, version 1.0.7*

The testers are great, but the camera in the app won’t focus on the tests at the scale they want it (it does focus for the first picture though). Completely unusable without fixing.

### 1/5 — App stinks

*2026-01-03, version 1.0.7*

App freezes Can’t take proper pictures gets error messages

### 1/5 — Wheat noodle

*2025-07-31, version 1.0.5*

Tested a wheat noodle, LEO said it was safe to eat.

### 2/5 — Great tests, terrible app

*2026-02-13, version 1.0.7*

The app never seems capable of taking a photo of the test and, when it fails, it cancels the photo of the food and the information entered. That means I either let my food get colder trying to take 17 pictures, or I give up and have no record.
Still true. Also, I’d love it if it could walk me through the methodology.

### 2/5 — Great tests, terrible app

### 3/5 — Not able to get ppm

*2025-12-07, version 1.0.7*

The test worked great but I tried many times to submit a picture always getting a message saying the picture wasn’t clear enough. It certainly seemed clear to me. If we could take a picture and then upload it to the app, it might work better.

### 4/5 — Product is good app stinks

*2025-12-01, version 1.0.7*

Product is good but app is terrible. Camera always comes out blurry and have to manually read test

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Food without the worry

*2025-10-13, version 1.0.7*

Works great! Really fast and gives me peace of mind.

### 5/5 — Life saver!

*2025-10-04, version 1.0.7*

I love this so much more than the Nima, it’s fast easy and accurate

### 5/5 — Extra assurance!

*2025-04-07, version 1.0.2*

It's great to have test to confirm the information given at a restaurant

### 4/5 — So far so good!

*2025-10-04, version 1.0.7*

Just downloaded and did my first test! Went great!

### 4/5 — Love being able to test on the spot

*2025-10-03, version 1.0.7*

I love being able to test on the spot but the scoop should be able to fit in the top of the vial.

### 4/5 — Easy, and excited

*2025-06-26, version 1.0.5*

The app is very useful, a bit glitchy, where the keyboard won’t go away to let you progress, but excited to gain confidence
