Pros: -Very Fun Levels -Can be very addictive Cons: -Controls need to be tweaked a little bit. The controls sometimes have a mind of their own, if you are pressing the right button, Lep will be running right and then will turn and run left and kill you. Also sometimes when you take your finger off the button, Lep will keep running. -When i run out of lives, i will close the app (but leave it running in the background) come back at a later time and reopen the game, it will go to the opening screen, but nothing shows on the screen except the background. You have to close the app by going to your app screen and forcing it to close and then relaunching the app. This needs to be addressed. Once these issues are fixed, it will be worthy of 5 stars. ### 5/5 — A fantastic little adventure! *2015-12-31, version 2.4.5* I have really enjoyed playing through this game twice. The levels are solid -good graphics, physics, animations, music - great stuff. Quite an ode to old Mario games, though much more smooth and polished. Quite impressively effective controls for an iPhone app as well. And, in regard to negative reviewer who previously stated that one should, "get a brain", if they enjoyed this game - it sounds like they encountered a unique glitch and expressed their anger by insulting anyone who enjoys this game... Oh well. Brain or not, I rather enjoyed this well crafted production and hope it works just as well on your device as it has mine, bringing much fun and laughter. :) ### 4/5 — Good game but needs a level editor *2013-12-10, version 2.0.2* This is a very good game but it needs a level editor I want every enemy in the level editor every backround In the level editor hey it be fine though the 3rd one is out I want another Christmas update with a level editor I think you should be able to pick your music for the level editor just like another game I love which already a level editor I just really love level editor ### 4/5 — 5 star game with 3 star items *2013-08-26, version 1.9* It is a very fun game but I hate that the ads open themselves in the middle of a game! I'd rather have it be at the end if any. At the end though, the ad pops up and if you don't click "done" right away it goes to the add app or ad page and tries to get you to purchase what ever it is. That is not fun. Some parts in certain worlds will have an almost impossible task for you to complete. It takes up most of your time allotted to you trying to over come the obstacle. That is not fun either. Please fix! Thanks! ### 1/5 — Zero *2017-04-20, version 2.6.5* This game is a mess and a half. ### 1/5 — Ads WAY TO INTRUSIVE *2013-07-30, version 1.9* Just about useless to play at moment, ads keep getting in ways and playing one level managed to open ad to download freaking stupid candy crush saga about 8 times. Not only do I have no desire to ever play that game, having it shoved down my throat on every website I go to and all social networks as well, now I have it forced o. Me in games I actually want to play. Well wanted, wont be playing til they fix this this- this is awful and impossible to at like this. I get you need to make money, but you won't make any if no I e can play because if ads. ### 2/5 — Kind of cool but problematic. *2013-06-20, version 1.8* Compared to the first Lep this is basically the same but easier and they took out the best enemy. The took a few elements from super Mario 3, but unfortunately not the good ones. While you can pick different worlds and levels they are basically all the same. One of the most frustrating things is they added a vertical element to the game but is virtually unused until the last level. The wall slide is also cool but useless until the last level, in fact this "ability" caused me to die far more than anything else because Lep would accidentally wall jump when I didn't want to. Having bosses is cool but they are basically all the same. Once you figure it out they are easy to beat provided you don't wall jump when you mean to just grab a pine cone. ### 2/5 — Still Crashes @ 6-8 *2012-10-20, version 1.2* Addendum Oct 20: Even with update, still crashes half way through 6-8. If this is resolved I will increase stars. This is a fun simple game with good graphics and sound. Harkens back to Mario which I love. Worth four stars for sure if it didn't crash every time I get half way through 6-8. I'm on IPhone 4. I'd give it 5 stars if enemies got progressively harder to kill and each boss was different rather than just an adjustment of the first. Definitely a game worth having in your repertoire when bug is fixed. ### 3/5 — Bug in world 8-8 *2021-04-12, version 3.2.0* The gold pots in world 8-8 are buggy. The second pot is missing, and the third pot doesn’t register when collected. One of the sky levels has buggy pots too, but a device restart fixed that. Otherwise, it’s a fun game that I like to replay once in a while. ### 3/5 — Not compatible with iPhone XR *2019-07-10, version 3.2.0* The plus version is not compatible with iPhone XR. It’s as if the game is zoomed in and I can’t see nothing on top as for how many life’s I have or any of the power up. If anything pops on the screen i get stuck since I can’t see or tap the X. ### 3/5 — Beware of level 8 *2017-12-18, version 2.6.5* Everything was great till I got to level 8. Now I cannot refill the fire cones, even though I have plenty to use. When it does refill, it gives me 3 instead of 50. And Lep no longer jumps like he used to. What's up??? While I'm at it...let's talk about Lep's world 3. See, i like y'all's Games cause they are IOS' Mario. But Lep 3 during level 3, all of a sudden ALL worlds get marked finished!!! Including all the bonus levels. BUMMER.
