In the FAQ page it says to avoid areas where there are a lot of wifi routers, but that would mean the device is not usable at a home where there are many other homes. This is impossible. This can’t possibly be a difficult firmware update fix. I tried all sorts of things to get this to work. I could not. The device puts out a WiFi signal just fine. I was able to connect my iPad to the WiFi signal just fine. I was able to install the app onto the iPad just fine. I could not get the app to recognize the device no matter what. Ugh. I was so looking forward to this new toy. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-01-30* Purchased a wifi telescope camera that is used with this app. Doesn’t work at all on iOS 17.2.1 even though it specifically states that this camera “will work on iOS 7.0 or later”. It connects but has no internet connection. The camera is on and it just shows a black screen with a thinking / loading spinning wheel. No images show. I had to play around with the app settings in my phone settings and finally figured out the steps I needed to take to connect the camera to the app. I turned cellular data off within my phone settings for the app and turned on the location to “while using the app.” It works great now. Camera is of good quality and has good clarity.
