### 2/5 — Needs update!

*2020-05-11*

The game is fun - and plenty to learn BUT at least on the iPhone 11- you cannot complete some of the activities as the tile pieces are under the close app bar. Would have been 5 stars otherwise- finally something to spark my interest.

### 2/5 — Ruined

*2016-07-25*

This was a fantastic game for learning German, and it was also just plain fun. But the speech audio no longer works, which defeats the purpose of the app.

### 3/5 — Very interesting, but one major technical flaw…

*2024-09-25*

Very well conceived game. Well designed, captivating, and interesting. It makes you learn lots of new words (I have a B2 level in German). Unfortunately, though, there’s a technical flaw that gets the payer inevitably stuck, making it impossible to move on to the next stages. At the point when our character needs to finish and send an application, when writing our cover letter or email, some necessary elements we need to drag and drop have been placed exactly under our smartphone’s button to reduce the window’s size! So, instead of finishing that task, all you can do is minimize the game’s window and see your phone’s apps appear in the background… Really frustrating! It’s a shame, as I would have loved to play the game until the end. Perhaps I will, once the technical mistake is rectified?

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear that the application does not work properly on your phone. We'll further investigate. We checked it on our phone and could complete the task.

### 3/5 — Great if it had audio

*2016-08-26*

This app is good, but it would be fantastic if language audio actually worked like in the Sky Disc mystery game. Because of that, the Sky Disc game is better. A real shame.

### 5/5 — So awesome

*2018-11-11*

German teacher here from Germany, teaching in the US a1-c2 levels.
This game is phantastic, not only teaching German but also teaching some intercultural competences. I would say B1 and above. I had a lot of fun playing it as a native speaker, but then I like mysteries anyhow.

### 5/5 — Wunderbar!

wunderbar.

### 5/5 — Very Fun and Challenging!

*2015-10-25*

This game is really fun! The vocabulary was a little beyond my level of understanding, but it introduced me to a lot of new words and expressions. The audible speech was not working, but that didn't really diminish the enjoyment of the game. Ich fand es toll. I hope the Goethe-Institut develops more learning games.

### 5/5 — Ausgezeichnet!

*2015-04-23*

Really interesting and fun. I am nearing the end of my 4th year of High School German and I found it to be challenging, but very fun and helpful!

### 5/5 — Fun Way to Learn German

*2014-01-13*

I enjoyed playing the game. I couldn't put it down. I liked how a few characters from The Mystery of the Sky Disk were included. I would love to play more games like this.

### 5/5 — Useful and interesting app
