But then I realized it doesn't let me block content, so I keep being fed things I don't care about. There's no "show me less content like this" or "show me less content with these keywords". Add some automatic keywording/categorization and the app would become useful. ### 3/5 — Improvement Idea *2025-01-27* Needs a better back button on the bottom or swipe to go back after reading an article. ### 3/5 — AI summaries are often blatantly wrong *2025-01-06, version 4.0.13* I really like the way the articles are presented, but the AI summaries, which you must navigate through first, are often very wrong. Stuff like “Elon Musk, CEO of Amazon,” or more often, attributing quotes to the opposite person, or mixing up who did what, for example, guy is told to turn down his music on the NYC subway, and guy playing music stabs the person who asked him to turn it down. The AI summary says the guy who was playing loud music was stabbed after not turning the music down. I am having a hard time trusting anything I read as at least 25% (or more) of the AI summaries are just flat out false information. I wish there was a way to not have the AI summaries at all because they are not ready yet for consumption. ### 4/5 — Good but Won’t work if my VPN is on *2024-08-19, version 4.0.12* Can you please allow it to work if vpn is active. The app has no memory bought it free for life and only give me free trial. RIDICULOUS ### 2/5 — Retry *2024-08-01* This would be an outstanding app, if it would only work. I have two problems. When trying to log in to the app, I get “Something went wrong” and a “Retry” button. I have hit the Retry button many times, the app appears to think about it for 10-15 seconds then back to retry. Frustrating. Secondly, I placed this app on my phone and iPad. When trying to use it on the iPad, it wants me to purchase a subscription. I thought a purchase would transfer to all devices. Overall, when it works, it is a fantastic source of news. I know you had a difficulties recently. This would be the best news app ever created except the feeds frequently time out. I don’t have to wade through all the garbage news I am not interested in, first. I sometimes find a few spelling or grammar errors in the AI summaries once in a while but I am sure they will work to fix those soon. Initially I had much difficulty with this app. I am happy to say that since the issues that led me to post a two star review have been resolved, I now post a 5 star review. LetMeKnow is definitely an AI generated news app. That being said, it has become my go-to app for world, national and local news reviews. Great job! I was able to log on to my iPhone and iPad using the same account by going to the “more” tab and clicking on “profile”. On my iPhone I used the number at the top of the screen and transferred the number to my iPad. Works like a charm. Many thanks to the developer for all of the help and improvements. Below is the initial review. Forget it! All problems have been resolved. This would be an outstanding app, if it would only work. I have two problems.
