One chip at the top names what is on the map. Under it sits a row of the creators you follow. Tap a face and the map becomes just their places, with their collections right there. That filter used to hide behind a small arrow and most people never found it. Saved pins show the face of whoever recommended the place. My Drops now looks like the people you got it from instead of a wall of identical dots. The bottom bar is clearer. The map has a proper label instead of a floating compass, and every tab is named for what it does. Creator collections are easier to get to. Tap a creator and you can see everything they have put together. The whole app is quicker. Avatars were cached in a way that made every save and every filter change slower than it needed to be. ### 1.4.2 — 2026-08-17 The map got a lot smoother. • No more freezing while pins load. The map stays responsive from the moment it opens. • Pinch to zoom works properly now, instead of occasionally panning the map sideways. • Tapping a pin keeps your zoom level, so places you've zoomed into stay put. • Cluster bubbles now wear our colours, and get deeper the more places they're hiding. • Faster category filters. ### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-03 The map got a lot better. • Maps are faster! Pins appear as they load instead of making you wait, panning stays smooth, and we fetch the area around you before you get there. • No more pin pile-up. Busy areas now collapse into neat groups you can zoom into. • Pins are bigger and easier to hit on iPhone, and while a pin's photos load you'll see a little glowing dot instead of a grey teardrop. • Venue pages are rebuilt. The creator reels are still the star, with a proper "about this place" underneath — type, opening hours, description, photos, rating and socials. • Directions now ask whether you want Apple Maps or Google Maps, and they open the venue's actual listing rather than dropping a blind pin. • Animation across the app respects Reduce Motion if you have it on. ### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-27 Sharing that actually arrives somewhere. Send a creator, a venue or a reel to a friend and the link now opens the app right on that place. No app yet? Install it, and it still lands exactly where it should. Share a spot, they find the spot. The map behaves itself too. Tap a pin and it parks on the venue instead of drifting back to wherever you happen to be standing, and the open place is ringed so you can see which one you picked. In Drops, filters and Near Me finally work together. Coffee, closest first.
