Handy for the Great Runs around the uk but that’s about it. There are hundreds of races every year. This app has about 10 ### 3/5 — Improvements needed on good potential *2025-08-15, version 3.35.0* It’s had to do the key value proposition which is to find events you want to do in the future. You do this by looking forward at calendars of when you’re free. You expect to see when events are available based on filtering and search criteria. That is all. Do this and I am sure the community will provide the next piece of beyond obvious advice. Ps. The friend building function. Too soon. Naff off. Won’t work. I’m willing to bet literally noone uses it. It’s obvious. You don’t get your cake and eat it. Wait and build a community and value prop first. ### 2/5 — Poor *2025-08-15, version 3.35.0* Such a shame as the app has so much potential. Great for finding races, awful for booking them. Repeat information, clicking next and information disappearing. Frequent freezes, links not working, searches not returning events that exist within the app. Just an endless stream of problems. The part that takes your money seems functional, but the rest is useless. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-07-26* Ragnar, what have you done? This app is literally useless. I cannot figure out how to sign up for a leg. I can’t fina any information on anyone’s running leg. There are links of team members that I’m following but you can’t do anything with that. I can’t follow other team members from the same screen. Where do we enter our running times, where are the running calculations? Where is anything useful in the stupid app!? ### 3/5 — Improvements *2025-07-20* It’s okay, but not having adequate geo features and identifies does hold this back substantially. I should be able to look up all races in a given metropolitan area (the Bay Area, or within 50 miles of Denver or wherever). Geography is the most important component to me when picking races. The app restricts access to basic features like the calendar unless you boost your follower count — a transparent attempt to drive engagement rather than offer real value. For the TD Five Boro Bike Tour 2025, the general “start times” information says “7:30AM”, even though there are 5 distinct start waves. Neither if those known times are listed, nor the actual wave I am assigned to, which starts at 9:30AM. ### 1/5 — Could be great *2025-04-08, version 3.18.0* This could be a really useful app but it's full of bugs, crashes and lacks adequate search function ### 2/5 — Where are the races? *2025-04-08, version 3.18.0* Pretty good idea but poorly supported. I filtered events in the South West for April 2025 and there are three. I’m doing 5 already, none of which were detailed on the app. I was hoping to connect with others who were going but no chance. The people who own the app need to get in touch with a lot more event organisers and get them on board. ### 1/5 — Full of bugs *2025-04-07, version 3.18.0* I was going to use this app to keep as a calendar for potential runs as had just booked a race. However the app is full of bugs as it doesn’t save any preferences for interested runs and defaults to its own. Led to frustration and now deleted. The discover/search section is just a bugfest, I’ve genuinely given up and lost motivation while looking for specific events to book. Please please just pay for a senior developer to get the basics right first. Don’t worry about all the nice to haves/ social network feeds etc elements of it. People want to easily search races, click back, save filters, easily book stuff. All the other icing can come later. Absolutely do not purchase anything through this app it’s awful and extremely difficult to deal with. The refunds team is terrible. If you purchase a refund of your registration don’t expect to get it. You can’t use the calendar unless you follow 3 friends, you can’t see who else is going to an event unless you follow 3 friends… you get the picture. Absolute garbage. Can’t read the text because it overflows the box and if you scroll up/down it’ll refresh the page and send you back to the beginning to start all over again. Gave up eventually. I’m not entirely sure why RAGNAR decided to switch but from the start this has been the most difficult process to register, add participants and now manage the team for our event. I have to allow access to my address book to even see the people on my team not pixelated in the background. Selling my data I suppose but good lord enough. Please DO NOT USE THIS APP AGAIN OR IT WILL BE MY LAST RAGNAR ### 1/5 — Dumb app. Worthless *2025-08-13* This is probably one of dumbest apps available. It’s unfortunate when seeking info on a race/run, you are immediately directed to Lets Do This disaster that has no info.
