For example I set my alarm, open up Facebook messenger, then put my phone down to go to bed, it does not appear that the alarm will sound. I would have had to go back to the alarm app, then put my phone down, then it would alarm. I haven’t tested this rigorously to be absolutely certain this is the case, but in my one day of using it, it appears to be so. Unfortunate inconvenience and enough for me to look elsewhere. It hasn’t worked yet. It is currently playing much later than set. The birdsong and the alarm are playing instead of just the birdsong followed by the alarm. I now cannot turn it off so will have to delete it. I loved it, could feel myself gently tuning in to the bird song whilst half asleep and then the bell brought me all the way awake. Weirdly I could not seem to switch it off, there was no screen and no matter where I looked there was seemingly no way to stop the ongoing alarm so I resorted to deleting the app which I’m now reloading this evening for tomorrow because I still loved it and felt awake without being startled.
