I cannot even log in with the same account that I already have in letsdefend. What a let down, what garbage. ### 1/5 — App will not allow sign-in to an existing account *2025-04-05, version 1.0.1* Cannot log in with an existing account. I know the password is correct because I can pull it from my password manager and login to the website without issue. Yet another example of something being released before it’s been QA tested for even the most basic functionality. Guess I’ll come back here in a few months when they unlock the front door! ### 1/5 — Unable to Logon *2025-04-03, version 1.0.1* This is a great conceptual idea and the first of its kind. Unfortunately, I can't logon using the same credentials as the website. Is this a separate logon and separate fee? I already pay for VIP+ ### 1/5 — Can’t sign in *2025-04-01, version 1.0* I’m trying to sign in with the email that is attached to my account but to no avail. If you have a HTB account linked in order to log in, HTB is not a sign in option in the app. Credentials arent recognized. I brought this up to the LD team on their discord and was shooed off to HTB support with NO replies :) ### 1/5 — Unable to Sign In *2025-08-13, version 1.2.2* I was really looking forward to LetsDefend creating an app and I got super excited when I saw the app was created, but I am unable to use it. For the last couple months, I’ve been trying to sign in but I use my Google account to sign in and it’s not letting me. Please fix this as soon as possible so I can use the app please and thank you. ### 1/5 — Horrifying *2025-07-09, version 1.1.3* Been a pro subscriber at $40/month for some time. Logged in here and basically got 4th grade TEFL quiz on the definitions of phishing, social engineering, etc. then i got fed an ad for royal kingdom. Teach about android or iOS security here or something. It really bogs down the speed at which I can complete sessions ### 3/5 — Can’t sign in on the app with my account that was created on the official website *2025-04-02, version 1.0* I have an account that I am using right now on the website and tried to use for this app. I have the VIP bundle linked to my account also. I am able to use my email and password to correctly login to the website and everything is fine. However, I input my same credentials on this app and I get an error that says either the username or password is incorrect, which doesn’t make sense. I would love to be able to use the app and continue studying for certifications while I’m not at my PC, but cannot do so at the moment because of this issue. As for LetsDefend itself, I am in love with this style of learning and how it’s all set up. It’s very structured and the quizzes at the end make sure you understand everything before you move on to a new module. At least for the PC version, there are also labs that you can connect to that allow you to interact with the learning material even further, which makes everything so much smoother for overall comprehension. You receive badges at the end of each major module and for the VIP version, you get a certificate for each completed course that you can show to employers. I highly recommend the website (can’t really say the app for now) for anyone looking to get into Cybersecurity. All the options are introductory and a little underwhelming. The app is very slow and buggy as well. The responsiveness is to touch is not there and very frustrating to use. It seems like a new app that is still undergoing testing. ### 2/5 — Not ready for prime time *2025-06-04, version 1.1.2* I have been a VIP subscriber online for a couple of years now. I am able to login with my web profile but it has a subscribe button in the app—as if it didn’t pull ANY info. It also has the most basic questions and only a few pathways (that I can see) and it started me at the literal beginning with zero points. This app is not ready for prime time. The web interface was like this at the beginning too so hopefully they will get the problems worked out soon. Love the concept, don’t think the execution was well thought out. ### 2/5 — Good info but unable to get past ads *2025-06-03, version 1.1.1* It has good info but every time I get to the end of one segment I watch the ad but am unable to get past the ad. Hitting the ‘x’ doesn’t work. Uninstalled and reinstalled app and that let me open the next module.
