Common words that are in every official dictionary are NOT recognized as valid words. Furthermore, the app’s solution often uses proper nouns, which are not allowed in similar word games. The most recent example I can make is the word CONTRARIAN. Apparently it is not a word. I am updating my previous review to confirm that this app needs some help. I just found two more words that are not recognized as valid even though they are commonly used in proper English: Globalist and Globalities 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️ ### 2/5 — Bridger *2026-03-15, version 1.9* This game is so hard. I do not like to do it. I do not recommend it if you do it. I definitely do not like it. Do not get this app. Do not do it on New York Times. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t recognise words *2026-03-13, version 1.9* This game can be fun but also annoying when it doesn’t recognise some words eg: plonk. Also it accepts Proper nouns eg: Barcelona & vishnu. It also had g as a ‘word’! Ending on a positive note I got one game in ONE word! It was acknowledgment.
