Common words that are in every official dictionary are NOT recognized as valid words. Furthermore, the app’s solution often uses proper nouns, which are not allowed in similar word games. The most recent example I can make is the word CONTRARIAN. Apparently it is not a word. I am updating my previous review to confirm that this app needs some help. I just found two more words that are not recognized as valid even though they are commonly used in proper English: Globalist and Globalities 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️ ### 1/5 — It sucks *2026-02-04, version 1.9* This is a poor imitation of the NYT Letterboxed. Many very common words I entered are not found as legitimate words, yet the words suggested as a two-word solution are often words that are so uncommon that even the brightest won’t recognize them. In addition, it’s not rewarding to start out with a prompt telling the player to solve the puzzle in six words and even if you solve it using three or four words, it takes you to a page saying you could have solved it using two words. That’s just idiotic.
