Did you ever play “Words with Friends” or Civ 4 play by email?  Yeah, this is one of those games where you take your turn, send it off into the ether and wait some unknown amount of time for your opponent to take their turn.  Each time you open the app, it’s like Christmas! Who’s taken their turn? What word did they play?!? Fire up a whole bunch of games with your friends or strangers, check in once a day, and you’re good to go!

I have really enjoyed playing letter pirate. I like that unlike other word games where there are a million things on the home page, this game keeps it simple and lets you play the actual game! It’s also nice to be able to support an independent studio.
