We’ll keep working to make multilingual dictation even better. 😊 ### 2/5 — dictation bugs *2026-06-05, version 2.6.4* The letterly AI iPhone app for detection is really working fine, but sometimes there are some bugs. For example, we need to manually go to the same app. Also, when we stop the detection, it shows the orange color light, saying that it's still listening. This might be a temporary bug. I hope they will fix it as soon as possible. There are some other apps similar to the dictation. They also have an iOS shortcut, so we do not need to open the keyboard or app. Maybe they can also consider this kind of function. Which means that Letterly listens and does the heavy lifting for me . The flow of my words phrases melodically out from my thoughts ! It truly boosts my creativity! If writing a poem or an original song ! When completed I’d choose Perhaps Magic option and Letterly cleans up draft to a spell check punctuation like ‘Word’ would do similarly for me! The significant model keeps the writing process intact but will replace words and phrases meaning more clean . Slightly selection is just as it says same workhorse but more toward your virgin script ! So there you go ! When I log into my account on a Mac, I can access all my audio notes but I don’t have access to any of the premium features I’ve paid for. I’ve emailed Letterly about it several times over 3 months and haven’t received a response. ### 5/5 — FAVORITE ALL TIME AUDIO NOTE TAKER *2026-04-12, version 2.4.0* Letterly is SO GOOD. It’s simple to use, and I LOVE that I can yap at it for up to 90 minutes and it will retain the audio files and make a transcript for me- such a huge benefit. I don’t LOVE the AI rewrites so much, I will still take my transcript to other tools until it improves, but as for capturing my thoughts and retaining the audio, it’s golden! ### 5/5 — Мне нравится *2026-04-09, version 2.4.0* Мне очень нравится как работает приложение. I get brief polite replies to my inquiries but then they never fix the problem or reply back beyond the first friendly email. I’m not even sure how to get a refund as they won’t respond. I've been using Lighterly for years, and I've tried all its competition. There's something subtle in the way these guys are developing this that just jives with the way I work. They also are clearly committed to the product, because every couple of months there's another feature that I completely like. ### 5/5 — Best Time-Saving Voice to Dictation App *2026-08-17, version 2.7.3* I use Letterly on my iPhone, my MacBook Pro, and my Mac Mini. I love that I can just talk instead of type. Oftentimes, I make typos or have fat thumbs when texting, and I prefer to speak. The return on investment and the speed I gain saves me a ton of time. And as you probably know, time is money. Time is your greatest asset. Uncomplicated and an amazing bang for buck, I particularly like their Web hooks and making rewrites very stable (I’m pretty idiosyncratic as a writer/speaker and a lot of other dictation software’s take too much liberty and rearranging my sentences). And now with their new feature of being able to dictate directly into documents, emails, etc., I’ve done away with any other dictation software. As someone with dyslexia who also works in the academia/research, good dictation software is a huge help to me in navigating my work and life, and Letterly has been my top choice by miles!
