You can’t. Want to combine some of libraries? You can’t. Want to search all of your library‘s? It looks like you can but the results are always zero., even if the book is already a part of one of your libraries. Many titles are not in their database and even if they are don’t expect them to provide reading levels. I scanned 20 of my most popular books (Magic tree house, flat Stanley ext.) and there were only DRA levels for 2 of the books I scanned , it actually allows me to submit the DRA level myself which makes me not trust the ones that did pop up at all, it’s clear there’s no research put into this app, it just expects the teachers who PAY for the app to do the research and put in the information. This is NOT an efficient way to see the levels of books and a WASTE of money… the app is also extremely dated and has the format of an early 2000’s iPhone keyboard. So I tried to reset the password, but the email never came. Thinking I made a typo in the email address when creating the account, I tried to create a new account, but it said I already created an account. So far 1 of 4-5 of our books are in database with grade level (reason I bought app) and our books are all normal assigned reading in public schools. The barcode option is wonderful, but sometimes it comes up with no information for any of the level types. However, if you search the title manually you are able to click on one of three or more duplicates and find an option that has at least the Lexie rating 90% of the time. This app would easily get five stars if someone was able to clean it up a little. ### 4/5 — Limited Selection *2019-06-05, version 3.0.1* This app gave level information for only about 10% of my classroom library. Glad I got a free trial. Now it’s time to cancel because this app is definitely NOT worth money. Very disappointed because the scan feature would have been super convenient. ### 4/5 — Level It *2018-04-18* Meant for school / teacher use with levelled readers purchased through schools, that are not available to general public. This is why parents will not find titles from libraries, bookstores etc. I have found this very helpful with Reading Recovery titles, and keeping track of guided reading group books. It’s great that teachers can add to the database as well. ### 4/5 — Worth Every Penny - If You Have Time... *2017-08-12* This will take you time, no joke. I spent probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 hours entering books, and that was only for a total of 300 books - many teachers have far more. However, now that I have all of my books entered, I am SO GRATEFUL to have this service. It is so nice to look up ranges of books for my students and consider what books will be appropriate reading for them as we enter this school year. My biggest complaint is that not all books are in the database, and not all of those entered have a reading level listed. ### 4/5 — Good App *2016-08-15* We love this app because it levels books and catalogs them at the same time, which obviously saves some time for us because we need both functions. But we would say there were some incorrect F&P levels, so just be careful of that. We had to cross-reference about 15% of books with another source. And most of those showed the incorrect level in the Level It app. The scanning feature worked fabulously and made it so easy.
