## What is Leverty?

Did the county assessor overvalue your business equipment?

When a business personal property assessment notice lands, the clock starts - and the appeal window is short. Leverty is a contemporaneous record for organizing exactly what you need to contest it.

Leverty keeps your business assets and assessment notices in one place on your iPhone. Each asset carries its category - equipment, furniture, machinery, inventory, fixtures - and its status: in use, disposed/ghost, or misclassified. Each notice carries its assessment year, assessed value, field office, and appeal deadline. On top of that you flag your own dispute points: over-assessment, under-depreciation, real-vs-personal misclassification, duplicate accounts, and ghost assets still on the rolls.

A county portal lets you file. It does not help you get organized first. Leverty is the preparation side - it holds your asset list, your flagged dispute points, and the assessed-value figures side by side, so your record is built before you reach the appeals board.

- Does not connect to any bank or financial account, calculate taxes or any tax saving, value your assets, decide whether an assessment is correct, predict an appeal outcome, or file on your behalf.
- Does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Verify the appeal process with your county assessment appeals board and, where appropriate, a property tax consultant.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your records live on your iPhone. There is no account to create and nothing is uploaded to a server. Many states treat a business personal property rendition as confidential, so keeping your working records on your own device is the point. The state reference runs on your device. Leverty is designed exclusively for iPhone.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
The annual subscription auto-renews until canceled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours prior. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. The Lifetime purchase is a single charge with no recurring billing.

IMPORTANT DATA NOTICE
Leverty stores all data locally on your iPhone. Beyond evidence PDF and checklist generation, the app has no built-in data export, import, or backup. Your data, including any attached photos, is included in iOS Backups (iCloud Backup or Finder/iTunes) when those are enabled. If you delete Leverty without an iOS Backup, your data will be permanently lost.
