## What is Lexer?

Learn the English words that matter today, straight from the news.

Lexer turns real headlines into your daily vocabulary lesson. Every word arrives inside a real sentence from recent news, with its meaning in your own language. Not textbook English — the real-world kind.

WHY LEXER
• Words from real news: every word comes in a real sentence from a real story, with the source and the week it ran — so you see how English is actually used right now.
• Meaning in your language: Turkish, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese and English.
• Your level, your topics: a one-minute level test pins your level on the CEFR scale, A1 to C2, then your feed adapts to it and to the topics you pick — World, Business, Tech, Science, Health, Sports, Culture and more.
• Rich word cards: IPA and audio pronunciation, multiple senses, a short story, a dialogue, phrases and collocations, and synonyms. Already know it? Skip it with one tap.
• Smart review: spaced repetition brings each word back right before you forget it, and a mini quiz checks today's words.
• Built to keep you going: a daily goal, streaks with 3, 14, 30 and 100-day milestones, badges to collect and a moment when you level up. Save favorites and share any word.
• Read and review offline, and sync across your devices.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Take the one-minute level test and choose the topics you care about.
2. Read today's words in real news sentences, with meanings in your language.
3. Review with spaced repetition and a quick quiz, keep your streak alive, and level up.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Learners preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, SAT or GRE who need advanced, CEFR-banded vocabulary in real context.
• Students, professionals and newcomers who want to follow the news in English with confidence.
• Anyone from A1 to C2 who is tired of memorizing word lists that never show up in real life.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Lexer is free to use with a limited number of new words and review cards per day. Premium unlocks unlimited words and reviews, multiple-choice quizzes, and the full story, dialogue and phrases for every word. All topics are available on the free plan.
