### 5/5 — Great game

*2019-05-02, version 1.00*

My 4 year old loves this game. I wish it had more 3/4 letter words/ actions. But it’s a great start...

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2019-05-01, version 1.00*

This app is the most imaginative and playful kids app! My daughter loves it! Great job

### 5/5 — Lovely game

*2019-05-01, version 1.00*

I have never written a review before and I do so now to say it is a fantastic game my daughter loves it. My four year do say there are very few rainbow unicorns :), that just makes her more excited every time she gets one. If there is a paid version of this I'm in.

**Developer response:** Yes, the scarcity of rainbow unicorns is a much heard complaint, I will raise it with our magic department!

Thank you for the lovely review.

### 5/5 — Cute

*2019-04-23, version 1.00*

Could you do a multilingual version, maybe Spanish first. Even without audio it would be instructive.

### 5/5 — Awesome kid’s game!

*2019-04-18, version 1.00*

My 2.5 year old loves this app and I can tell it’ll just keep getting more interesting for her as she gets older and can do more by herself. Each time she finds something different to do and loves ‘matching’ the animal to the activity, like getting the pick to roll in the mud. Or “Mama, give the dog a bone!”

### 5/5 — An app that makes me feel better about screen time

*2019-01-17, version 0.01*

Love it!! I never write reviews, but really want to support this app. I first saw Lexi’s World on my friend’s iPad and enjoyed the cute animations and interactions with animals. There’s a few surprises that just make me want to discover more. I also love that it’s reminiscent of The Little Prince’s whimsy and innocence. And lastly, the big bonus was - in a world of kid apps and stories devoid of diversity - the character is a person of color.

So, this is shortlisted as apps I feel good about showing my two-and-a-half year old. I didn’t know whether she’d understand it, since she rarely gets screen time. Nonetheless, her love of the alphabet and the app’s intuitiveness both really helped. She can tap to get butterflies and balloons. She caught on that certain words react to each other like elephants and puddles.. It’s really just adorable seeing her reaction to all the delightful things in the app.

I can’t wait to see what’s to come for Lexi’s World!

### 5/5 — Adorable

*2018-11-14, version 0.01*

This game is great, I got it for my five year old who is learning how to spell. She loves it. Please keep updating! The combos are super fun to find.

### 5/5 — Why did this not exist before?

*2018-11-05, version 0.01*

So smart, so simple and so fun!

### 5/5 — A delightful game for kids (and adults)

*2018-11-05, version 0.01*

I love this game — and I’m not even a kid. ☺️ It reminds me of the Little Prince. Make sure to try the cat & box combo, and the elephant with the puddle!

### 5/5 — A whole new world

*2018-11-03, version 0.01*

I have a 4 year old that I’ve been reading to consistently and decided to try this educational app as a effort to retain words. Ever since I’ve introduced this app to Evan, it’s taken a huge load off of me as a parent! The simple interface and concept allows me to visually pair words with objects. Most children are visual learners that need proactive interaction to aid their development. Using this game with Evan has already helped his breadth of words and objects. Most 4 year olds have limited attention spans, yet Evan is able to stay fixated on this game for a good hour per day. Before going to bed, I’ll go through this game with Evan to help teach while bringing him down. The music is perfect to aid in going to sleep time. Amazing app that significantly helps children learn!

### 5/5 — Worth it!

*2018-11-03, version 0.01*

I wanted to see if this was something my daughter would like; now I find myself playing just to see what Lexi and the animals do!

### 5/5 — Great learning game

*2018-11-03, version 0.01*

3 year old loves it. He could already type the words bull and buffalo but now he is figuring out typing a lot more words with this app. very cute and the interaction between the animals and the food/water is a nice touch

### 5/5 — Wonderful learning game

*2018-11-02, version 0.01*

Easily worth more than $.99. My daughter loves playing this game. It is a massive improvement on the kids games on the App Store, especially with the cool spelling and typing mechanic.

### 5/5 — Kids love choosing the letters and animals!

*2018-11-02, version 0.01*

Lexi’s World is fantastic because it allows the children to touch any letter and learn how to spell the names of adorable animals. The graphics and music are super fun too. The app is a better learning tool than most children’s apps I’ve seen. I’ve recommended Lexi’s World to my friends and family with small children.

### 5/5 — This app taught my grandson to identify the letters.

*2018-11-02, version 0.01*

Lexi’s world turns dark when you type ‘night’. He’d ask “is this the n for night?” “Is this b for bone?”, to give the dog bone.

I turn on Guided Access in the Accessibility settings and then push the side button 3x in Lexi. That means he has no access to other apps. It’s Lexi or nothing.

This is sound use of the phone for a kid, all to rare. Pop Pop Pop’s other app “Red in Bed” has a similar learn by play values for toddlers, learn the colours!

I hope we see more from Pop Pop Pop

### 5/5 — Perfect for kids who are curious about letters and animals

*2018-11-01, version 0.01*

My nephew and niece love this game. Especially the part when Lexi hops on the elephant. The interactions between the animals are passively informative and fun. Love it and highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Cute way to teach kids how to type & spell

*2018-10-31, version 0.01*

Smart keyboard interaction only let's you type specific words, so your kiddo doesn't really need to know how to spell or type; if they keep bashing keys something will happen eventually! But for kids learning to spell & type there are fun animations and unexpected word combos to unlock. Hours of fun!

### 5/5 — A great educational game

*2018-10-29, version 0.01*

Lexi’s world is sparse and bare, but through a simple interface Lexi helps your child to learn tospell her favourite animals, and things to do, giving her and your children a playful environment to explore. My 3yo love it, he quickly learning to type out words to see his farmyard favourites. Lexi’s voice is lovely, a real nod to sesame street, and really helps with the engagement.

### 4/5 — Good

*2023-11-28*

I want a new animal a bird!

**Developer response:** Nice! I definitely want to come back and add more animals. For now I hope that owls and geese suffice!

### 4/5 — Great app

*2019-05-02, version 1.00*

This is really great app and without advertisements that makes me happy...

Few suggestions
As this app mostly going to use by children from year 1 to 4/5 because once they joined their school they should know basic ABCD...
- can we have feature where they learn only ABC and not whole word means After pressing A it’ll force to press B.
- once the word is finalise why we need to press Correct ✅ , kids from age 1 or 2 don’t understand this.

But overall lovely app and I’m gonna use this. Thank you

### 5/5 — Simple, fun, and educational

*2025-08-06, version 3.0.08*

My kids have loved this app. A very young child could use it to work on letter recognition and begin to learn to spell. My older kids still choose Lexi’s world when we are waiting for an appointment and they forgot a book. I’m so glad a librarian friend of mine suggested this one! It’s fun for kids ~2 years old to 10 (or older for a short boredom-buster).

### 5/5 — I wish i could rate this 10 stars!

*2021-11-19, version 3.0.08*

I love this app because you could make a world and make it bigger and bigger!❤️

### 5/5 — Excellent app, Support is wonderful!

*2020-11-23, version 1.00*

Our son loves this app. He was sad when we had an issue, but the developer was *incredibly* responsive and helped us fix right away. I was blown away. By the way, I think the problem was unique to our iPad / app install, not any issue with the app itself.

We are beta testing the next version, and it looks amazing. We are looking forward to supporting app well into the future. :-)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2020-06-10, version 1.00*

Already has great content, but please support, the way this game helps children identify words is truly unique and innovative.

I am sure with more support the developers will add even more to this excellent app.

### 5/5 — AMAZING

*2020-05-27, version 1.00*

So hi, I am Aroha Balkin’s friend, 9 years old, yet I still love this game. It’s absolutely amazing. Good Job Josh, Charlie

### 5/5 — Encourage budding speller with cuteness

*2019-07-07, version 1.00*

My kid can barely spell yet but she loves this app. It’s so adorable to see her making her worlds. I’m glad it encourages her to try new words because so far our worlds have a lot of cats, mostly.

### 5/5 — Really good...

*2019-05-21, version 1.00*

A lovely way to teach words/spelling for a child - a criticism being that there aren’t enough of them available in the app (maybe there will be more over time?)

### 5/5 — Lovely:)

*2019-05-19, version 1.00*

Really magical! I enjoyed being transported to another world. Kids loved it too😊

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Learning App

*2019-05-12, version 1.00*

My 4yr old is learning his letters and loves this game. I would rather phonetics so he can sound out the words and an idea to monetize in the future would be to add more words to explore or worlds with interactive elements and verbs to allow Lexi to be more explorative. :)

### 5/5 — Awesome game!

*2019-05-07, version 1.00*

This is an awesome app to play with tons of possibilities!

PS:Maybe you could add the word “turn?”
